Anastasia Cocktail Party Blush Trio Review, Photos, Swatches
Cocktail Party
Anastasia Cocktail Party Blush Trio ($30.00 for 0.33 oz.) includes three coordinated blushes in medium-sized compact. The blush formula is supposed to be “finely-milled” and “full-pigmented” for “buildable intensity with a seamless finish.” Based on my interpretation, it seemed to say that it was buildable up to full coverage. Two of the three shades were very pigmented, while the third one was more buildable as described. All three blushes lasted eight and a half hours or longer, and they were fairly blendable on the whole.
There are five trios available. They are presently available through Anastasia directly and will be available online at other retailers on June 13th and in stores on June 23rd.

Vegas
Vegas is a rich, reddish brown with warm undertones and a mostly matte finish. It had semi-opaque color payoff that was buildable to full coverage with a second layer, but it was harder to achieve anything less than semi-opaque coverage as the thinner texture made it a bit harder to spread a smaller amount evenly over my cheek area. The texture felt smooth and was fairly blendable, but there was room for improvement. This shade stayed on well for nine hours on me.

Scorching
Scorching is a vibrant, medium pink-coral with subtle, warm undertones and a mostly matte finish. It was intensely pigmented–a little went a long way–with a soft, smoother texture that felt less firm compared to the majority of shades in the formula. I felt like that made it easier to blend and diffuse on the skin, and it was possible to use a very light touch and get less coverage (that still spread out on the cheeks). The blush wore well for nine hours on me.

Babe
Babe is a bright, light-medium cotton candy pink with cool, blue undertones and a semi-matte finish. The pigmentation was buildable from medium to full coverage (with three layers). The powder felt smooth, soft enough that there was some excess powder kicked up in the pan, but it blended out effortlessly and did not appear powdery on my skin. It started to show signs of fading after eight and a half hours of wear.

Just effectively talked myself out of this trio! There is only ONE shade in it that I actually love; Scorching. Not enough to justify buying it. Was hoping for more out of Desert, but it would seem ABH is having some issues with their deeper blush shades.
One outta three definitely means skip!
Vegas pairs nicely with your eye look, Christine!
Thank you! 😀
Nice mix of shades here, great for travel
The compacts are travel-friendly!
Babe is a star!
Too bad you have to buy all three together, lol!
