Dior Winter Poppy (862) Rouge Dior Lip Color (2021) ($40.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a medium-dark, pink-red with strong, cool blue undertones and a flat, matte finish. It had semi-opaque color payoff paired with a denser consistency that wasn't emollient and had only slight gliding ability, so it didn't apply as comfortably in a single stroke.
It was easier to apply in shorter, more overlapping strokes to get the most even finish. Despite being a little clingy compared to other finishes in the range, it didn't seem prone to emphasizing my lip texture or lip lines. The color lasted for six and a half hours and left a strong stain behind, though it was only lightly hydrating overall--I definitely needed to put lip balm on a few hours after removal.
