Giorgio Armani Warm Coral (30) Neo Nude Melting Color Balm ($38.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a rich, medium-dark orange with moderate, warm undertones and a matte finish. It had nearly opaque color coverage in a single layer, when applied with a fingertip, and more medium coverage when applied with a brush. It was less buildable as it was rather pigmented, in my experience, and I had to use a lighter hand to achieve the buildable coverage marketed.
The texture felt smooth, velvety, and springy to the touch, but it wasn't emollient like a traditional cream-based product--so it was more clay-like, malleable but drier. The product applied evenly to bare skin as well as on top of foundation and was easy to blend out as it was more powder-like once it came into contact with my skin. It stayed on well for eight hours as a blush and six hours as an eyeshadow.
