Giorgio Armani Brick Red (45) Neo Nude Melting Color Balm ($38.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a rich, coppery orange with strong, warm undertones and a matte finish. It was more orange-leaning than red-leaning both in the pan as well as swatched/applied. It had nearly opaque pigmentation applied with a fingertip and more medium to semi-opaque coverage applied with a brush, so it was not as buildable as marketed--you'll need to use a lighter touch to achieve true, buildable coverage.
The texture was smooth, more of a velvety feel that was drier, like a clay, with some spring/give when pressed and pushed around in the pan. The formula felt velvety initially but turned to a more powder-like finish as soon as it came into contact with my skin. It wore well for eight hours on my cheeks and six hours on my eyes.
