Your skin tone/coloring: Under my name (blue-green eyes, dark hair)
Look you loved this week?: An eye look I did using one of your IG quad templates with PML Midnight Sun Mothership!
Taboo transition, Vermilion Venom through crease, Xtreme Dusk packed more heavily than it appears in photos in the outer V and outer lower lashline, Bronze Eclipse mid lid to bridge Xtreme Dusk with Blood Moon on inner lid and inner lower lashline, Skinshow Moon Glow with a bit of Astral Solstice inner corners.
Cheeks: UD Jawbone, Essence Satin Love, MAC Double Gleam.
Lips: Sephora Blaze Of Glory Cream Lip Stain with MAC x Selena Hey Dad, Pizza Lipglass.
Any new or old favorites discovered?: Yassss! PML Midnight Sun Mothership!
Any product you’re hoping to use next week? More Motherships… Midnight Sun, Divine Rose II and Bronze Seduction. Also, MAC Heart Goes Boom lipstick. It’s gorgeous!
Your skin tone/coloring: pale, cool
Look you loved this week?: oddly enough, it was today’s look – very minimal as I was working out with my trainer. Painterly on my lids to cover blue-ness and I lined top and bottom with MAC Powersurge Eye Kohl pencil (it’s a dirty golden/bronze). Burt’s Bees tinted lip balm and a mask. I loved the look, probably in large part because I had my hair cut and coloured on Thursday afternoon and it really looks fantastic, if I say so myself. I wish it could look like this all the time!
Any new or old favorites discovered?: Oh yes – UD Stray Dog! It’s my new love in terms of eyeshadow. Talk about a pretty, easy shadow to use.
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: Besides Stray Dog, I really want to be using my 2 new Dior 5-pan palettes more and also the UD Game of Thrones palette. I mean, why the heck not?
Doesn’t it make you feel better when you’ve had your hair done? After our draconion lockdown my hair was a mess and a soon as I could get an appt. – I was out the door!
Well, she also changed my style a bit, thinning out and layering the back and area sort of behind my ears, where my hair is thick and unruly (it’s been a process of undercutting and I love it so much, I may well end up with an almost entirely shaved head!!!). I was lucky to get in just before we went into total lockdown in March and I’ve been in once or twice since, as our restrictions eased so I’ve weathered the hair nightmare not too badly but I think my area really might need to go into an almost total lockdown again, though there is so much resistance to it – heaven forbid that people can’t get out to buy another TV or meet up with 35 of their very best friends in a bar!
Your skin tone/colouring: Porcelain, with pink undertones
Look you loved this week?: I used a combination of ND’s Glam – one of the lighter semi silvery shades all over the lid, with Chanel’s Tisse D’ Automne quad – the light olive shade on the lower lid, the darkest shade next to the lash line and a touch of the brown shade in the crease. I paired it with Maybelline’s Spice for Me lipstick.
Any new or old favorites discovered?: I did use Wet n’ Wild’s original Comfort Zone palette this week and it is still a good one.
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: No idea! It really just depends on what I am wearing, but no doubt Glam will feature in it.
Reading your posts is like going through my own makeup favourites. I nearly used Tisse d’automne the other day and then got distracted by something else (possibly Dior Jungle). And I’ve also got that old WnW Comfort Zone palette. What a find and a treasure that was and for under $5 Canadian at my tiny little pharmacy down the street. I never thought I’d ever find it at all in Canada. And you’ll be interested to know that I just ordered the ND Glam palette (taking advantage of the $25 off offer from Sephora) for my husband to give me for Xmas. AND he didn’t even complain “Don’t you have enough makeup (a valid comment)? How much makeup do you NEED?”. I think he’s just relieved to know what to give me for Xmas. After 40.5 years, you’d think he’d know….(a Bulgari necklace might be nice but we’d have to mortgage the house to afford the one I’d like, if it’s even still available!)
Your skin tone/coloring: Pale/yellow, dark hair, blue eyes
Look you loved this week?: Orange-y look that I did yesterday or the purple/violet look I did earlier in the week.
Any new or old favorites discovered?: L’Oreal Blue Jersey Le Lineur Signature eyeliner. I bought it a few months ago as an add-on to get free shipping for an Ulta order, so it has sat unloved for a while. I used it today with Sydney Grace Dive eyeshadow and it was super pretty. I need to use it more!
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: Kiko Lost in Amalfi blush… it has an odd perfume-y fragrance, but the color is flipping gorgeous. Kiko baked blushes are really the stuff of dreams, and they look so glowy and perfect that using them is a real pleasure. I also want to do a more holiday-esque green look sometime during the week too.
Look you loved this week?: I used Urban Decay Born to Run, with Riff all over the lid, with Ignite and Double Life as shimmers blended over the matte. I then used some of Still Shot to blend out the transition up into the brow bone, then I topped it off with some Thrive Causemetics Liquid Lash Extensions Mascara and ABH Brow Wiz. For face I used Physician’s Formula Butter Bronzer in “Sunkissed Bronzer”, the Tarte Blush 101 Amazonian Clay Blush Palette shade “Pop Quiz”, and the NYX Born to Glow! Liquid Illuminator in “Gleam”. For lips I used the MAC Matte Lip Mousse in “My Better Half”
Any new or old favorites discovered?: Definitely the Urban Decay Born to Run palette. I’d put it aside because it was supposed to be my “travel palette” (ha ha ha), but I pulled it out during the final days of me daily-vlogging November and it really does have everything I like
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: I’m taking a break from filming and wearing makeup to edit together the last of my vlogs, but I wanna keep playing with my Colourpop The Child palette
Your skin tone/coloring: above with freckles, green/gray/blue eyes, warm brown hair.
Look you loved this week?: ND Triochrome palette for the win! https://www.instagram.com/p/CITOjdIp5Mq/?igshid=166bvqbi2kcq6
Any new or old favorites discovered?: Hourglass Mood Exposure blush. It’s become a favorite of mine.
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: I ordered a few Sydney Grace singles (Purple Sky, Red Mist, Deep Water, Orange Slush) and I’m really looking forward to using Purple Sky and Red Mist.
Your skin tone/coloring: Above; neutral, fair
Look you loved this week?: I followed Lisa Eldridge’s Kristen Stewart tutorial using a Beauty Pie eyeliner, Armani Eyes To Kill in Steller, and then simple swish of TanTastic Bronzer and a pop of Essense Blush in Satin Love. Finished with Lipstick in Beauty Pie Naked Angel (Peach based neutral)
Any new or old favorites discovered?: Essense Satin Love + The Balm InStain Blush in Toile = Mask Proof blossom cheeks (and a CT blush dupe). Also Flexitol Lip Balm has been saving my chapped lips.
Any product you’re hoping to use next week? I just discovered CT Flawless Filter + Marc Jacobs Foundation Concentrate are a match made in heaven; wondering how they last in the office….
