Look you loved this week?: This was a good makeup week for me! I got my Clionadh order in and I’m SO pleased with them. I used them as much as I could. This week. My three faves are down below if you want to check them out!

Any new or old favorites discovered?: I have fallen quickly in love with my Clionadh shadows. So much so that I have a list to order for when they open back up.
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: I will continue to schmear Clionadh shadows all over my face next week, pleaseandthankyouandamen.
Beautiful looks! My favorite is the Beetlejuice one, of course, but all three turned out really nicely.
Thank you so much, Rachel! I had a lot of fun with the Beetlejuice look. 😋
Love the looks, I’ve tested my Clionadh eyeshadows out, very beautiful colors one of my eyes has more wrinkles than the other but they look nice on the mobile lid and under they eye like you did on the Beetlejuice one. Making my list from Christine’s reviews for when they open again as well.
They’re so beautiful, aren’t they, Brenda? I think Forge is my favorite so far, of the ones I’ve purchased.
Love the green on your lowerlash! Enjoy your new shadows!
Your skin tone/coloring: light, cool
Look you loved this week?: I did my brows other day with the IT Cosmetics brow pencil (their original “universal shade” one) for the first time in ages; on my eyes, Nars Old Church Street (left side) on inner 2/3 of lid and Chanel Blurry Grey #2 on outer 1/3 and in the crease. Sephora Diving in Malaysia to line and Marc Jacobs skinny liner on my upper waterlines. I was teaching so the rest of my face was covered with my mask but I was happy with the eye look
Any new or old favorites discovered?: I hadn’t used the Chanel Blurry Grey palette in ages so was really glad to get that into the rotation; also, I got out a Bobbi Brown blush and 4 shadows Points Perk from years ago and want to start using that this coming week
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: The Bobbi Brown little palette I referred to above. I’d love to be able to get more like this but my local Sephora (and, I think, Sephora generally) doesn’t carry a huge range of Bobbi’s stuff.
Your skin tone/coloring:light, MAC NC 20
Look you loved this week?: I’ve loved a one and done eye look esp with Chanel Cuivre Rose. Paired with MAC Faux Sure EDSF blush and Lancôme Monseuir Big mascara
Any new or old favorites discovered?: Chanel Cuivre Rose eyeshadow and Chanel Le Teint Velvet Foundation (new) and MAC Blitz n Glitz fluidline (old)
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: I really need to use my Bobbi Brown Laura Mercier Eyeshadow Sticks!
Your skin tone/coloring: Under my name; magenta/red hair; hazel/green eyes.
Look you loved this week?: EYES: UD Primer Potion in Enigma. UD Born to Run Palette — Hell Ride blended out with Weekender (crease), Radio (outer and inner thirds of lids; bottom lash line) Jet (over Radio on the outer thirds of top and bottom lids), Big Sky (center of lid). Transformer in Blue from Sephora Collection Holographic Face & Cheek Palette (inner corner). UD 24/7 Eye Pencil in Sabbath (top and bottom waterlines). Essence Lash Princess Mascara. LIPS — Milani MILANI Amore Metallics Lip Crème in Matterialistic. CHEEKS — Mix of Warm Rose and Pink from the Sephora Collection Holographic Face & Cheek Palette. FACE — E.l.f. Hydrating Primer; Milani Conceal + Perfect Foundation Stick in Porcelain; e.l.f. HD Powder in Sheer; UD e/s in Frisk (as contour); Transformer in Pink from Sephora Collection Holographic Face & Cheek Palette (as highlighter)
Any new or old favorites discovered?: Rediscovered — I took the Sephora Collection Holographic Face & Cheek Palette and the UD Born to Run Palette traveling for the first time, and both worked out great for me, and with each other. Born to Run lacks brow bone and inner corner colors, and the Transformer shades from the Face & Cheek Palette worked great for that purpose, as well as on their own as funky colored face highlighters.
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: Notoriously Morbid Dapper Darklings Pressed Palette, Black Moon Cosmetics Urban Myth Palette, and bhCosmetics Frosé 6-Color Highlighter Palette (beautiful, creamy highlighters; I think the darkest shade will be a blush on me, but IDC).
I am so trying this eyeshadow Combo out!!!
I hope you love it!
Your skin tone/coloring: Under my name.
Look you loved this week?: I was reading comments on Instagram from a post by the founder of Give Me Glow Cosmetics. She is dealing with issues of non-inclusivity, (is there a better way to say that?), and while I agree with the comments, it did reawaken my love of the Vintage Rose palette. It is more of a spring/summer palette but I used just three of the deeper shades from it, the deep green, Aged Rose Stem, the deep purple, Velvet Petals and the shade Rose Bouquet. I used the Bon Fresco shade from ABH which I have as a single as well as in the Mod Ren palette. I used that shade as a transition shade and Tempura under the brow. I used Chantecaille Bliss blush, which I usually refer to as The Butterfly Blush. As a lipstick I used Lisa Eldridge Pink Skyscraper which is just such a “me” shade that I use it so often. I really just tapped it on to give a flush to my lips.
Any new or old favorites discovered?: Really just the palette.
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: I am hoping my Clionadh order comes in and I can use that! Oh, wait a second, the first order is for my daughter. Bummer. Oh well, I have been working on a new piece of furniture to house some of my makeup collection and when that is done, I will be going through my makeup to determine what I want to store in that piece so maybe I will come across something that I haven’t used in a while and I will use that.
Your skin tone/coloring: by my name
Look you loved this week?: Armani Eyes to Kill (Stellar) + Nyx single in Taupe as a 1+ and done look; Rhodium (ND Bronze) as an outer V or eyeliner shade….very interesting, special chameleon kind of shadow; also the MJ Tantastic Bronzer with Ulta Sunrise blush on top (peach/coral). Apparently I am not ready to be rid of summer vibes.
Any new or old favorites discovered?: NYX single in Taupe and Tantastic have been *well used* this month. 😊
The “white” shade in the Viseart Coy palette (Coy #9) has been a stunning re-discovery this month, kind of a duo-chrome? Looks white in-pan, applies lilac (on a powdered lid), and will shift throughout the day. Super fun!
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: It’s my last week for this round of eyeshadows for the month….I am sadly finding I don’t gravitate to the UD Naked palettes the way I used to 😭
Your skin tone/colouring: Porcelain, with pink undertones
Look you loved this week?: I have used the Sultry palette a few times this week, trying to use different shades. In one look I used Pearl as the base shade over the lid, with Rose Quartz on the mobile lid and Teak on the lower lid. In another eye look, I again used Pearl, with Steampunk on the mobile lid, Cinder on the lower lid and borrowed the olive shade from Chanel’s Tisse D’ Automne for the crease. I just wish there was an olive shade in this palette, like I wish the pink shade in Tisse D’ Automne was gold.
Any new or old favorites discovered?: Sultry – a really great palette, but my only negative is that it is loosely packed in the pan.
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: It just depends on what the weather is, where I am going and what I am wearing, now that our restrictions are easing.
I’m glad your restrictions are easing, our infections are increasing, they aren’t imposing any more restrictions on us yet but it might just happen. We’ve just had many days of snow and uncommon cold weather breaking previous records. They’ve predicted a cold winter for us this year and it’s already started, all of the leaves haven’t even fallen off our trees yet.
Your skin tone/coloring:light, Light with red
Look you loved this week?: My birthday look! The star of the show was JD Glow Prismatic shadow, but I also loved wearing with MUG Voodoo pigment and Sydney Grace Evergreen! On my lower lash was Sydney Grace Flannel with LA Girl Vivid neon eyeliner and I thought the eyes turned out great! The other star I wore for my birthday were Guerlain meteorites pearls but I kept my face makeup pretty neutral given my super colorful and shimmery eyes 😀
Any new or old favorites discovered?: JD Glow Prismatic shadow and ColourPop Moody Bloom lipstick!!
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: So much. Hoping to try my new Fyrinnae glitter and my new Inglot pigments.
Look you loved this week?: I did an eyeliner-only look with a dramatic lip with my new 3CE Velvet Lip Tint in “Private” and it looked great both in-person and on camera. I set my base with “Yum-Yum” from the Too Faced Sparkling Pineapple palette, then used the Marc Jacobs Highliner in “Blacquer 42”, with a light brushing of ABH Brow Wiz for my brows. For face I had the bronzer from the Tarte 101 Blush palette, the Colourpop powder blush in “Good Luck Charm”, and the Colourpop SSH in “Glow Burst”
Any new or old favorites discovered?: I have considerable dip in both of my Colourpop Super Shock Highlighters. I don’t tend to get multiples of the same formula but Churro and Glow Burst were both limited edition shades that I couldn’t resist. Luckily I ended up really loving them both
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: I’m taking a break from filming next week in preparation for daily-vlogging in November, and since filming is the only time I wear makeup anymore I don’t think I’ll be wearing makeup this upcoming week
