Look you loved this week?: Sugarpill Pillow Fight (instant favorite, AMAZING) lips with white, pink and duo chrome green e girl inspired eyes.
Any new or old favorites discovered?: rediscovered MAC Pink Swoon blush, fell in love with Sugarpill Pillow Fight.
Any product you’re hoping to use next week? : I bought a fleet of Sugarpill Liquid Lipsticks on Labor Day and I want to use all seven next week.
Is SP a preservative-free line? I had a tube of Antisocialite, name too perfect to pass up, and it hardened instantly.
No makeup worn this week. I am staying home so much that putting on makeup hasn’t been even on my radar. I just placed an order with Clionadh shadow and while I won’t get them until November, I am really excited about them and if nothing else has impacted my “current situation depression” , I know that they will do the trick. I also picked up one of the blushes which I am almost more excited by than the shadows. I picked up 19 shadows, most for my daughter for her Advent Calendar but a couple for me. I know they are not likely to look that good on my old, wrinkly eye lids but I think they are going to be fun to play with and I don’t really care what anyone else thinks!
Good for you, Deborah!! Enjoy them when they arrive!
Your skin tone/coloring: pale, cool
Look you loved this week?: nothing really stands out
Any new or old favorites discovered?: I started using a matte brown GOSH liner pencil – I used to use it all the time and then put it aside in favour of my beloved Sephora Cappuccino. But this week, I just felt like using a matte liner – go figure!
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: OH BABY…..I just found (for $13) a NARS Old Church Street eyeshadow duo. When the Charlotte Gainsbourg duos came out, I got Rue Allent but demurred on Old Church Street because of the quality of the right side/blackened teal, and also because these are just pricey babies in Canada. But for $12 – easy choice. They also had Alhambra but I couldn’t see what colour it was (I can now that I’m home and might go back to get it) and also Habanera, which I have and which is so beautiful and unique that I nearly bought it anyway! So, with autumn sort of coming and with eyes pretty much the only thing on display, I am hoping to use it this coming week.

Look you loved this week?: Marc Jacobs Tantastic -eye crease/buffed out, ND Super Glow highlighter (fair) to lid; Beauty Pie eyeliner – Molten Bronze; Mascara (Monsieur Big + Chanel Waterproof); Tantastic all over face; Clinique Ginger pop on cheeks; Beauty Pie Wonder Oil Gloss – Nude
Any new or old favorites discovered?: New favorite- MJ Tantastic
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: Viseart Bridal Satin palette
Your skin tone/colouring: Porcelain, with pink undertones
Look you loved this week?: As I was wearing a teal top, I decided to feature teal in my eyeshadow look.
I pulled out Lancome’s Sparkling Intoxication – used the soft gold on my lids, with the teal shade on my lower lid and the soft green in the crease. I paired it with my new Battery Park Bronze lipstick (in the house) by Laura Geller.
Any new or old favorites discovered?: Yes, the Lancome quint of Sparkling Intoxication.
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: I want to use Lancome’s Jade Fever a bit more too. It has a lovely set of green shades in it.
Look you loved this week?: I finally got around to trying everything I purchased from the Colourpop x Mulan collection. I started with “Undefeated” all over the lid, blended “Loyal” into the inner lid, and finished off with “Strike a Match” in the inner corner. On my cheeks I just had the powder blush in “Good Luck Charm”. On the lips I layered the Lux Liquid Lip in “Strong Chi” with the Lux Gloss in “Phoenix” on top
Any new or old favorites discovered?: I quite liked what I’ve used of the Colourpop x Mulan palette so far. It’s hard for me to find reds that don’t make me look sickly, and I’m not opposed to putting glitters in the eye area so that isn’t an issue for me. I went on a Zoom call after filming my first impressions video and got lots of compliments
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: I pulled out my Colourpop x Safiya Nygaard Lux Lipstick in “Fred” to use in my next video
Your skin tone/coloring: light, MAC NC 15-20
Look you loved this week?: I’ve been using the MAC Amber X9 all week.
Any new or old favorites discovered?: MAC Amber X 9, Tarte Exposed blush, Revlon Colorstay Foundation
Any product you’re hoping to use next week? I’ve pulled out ABH Modern Renaissance palette. It’s a perfect Fall palette for me!
Your skin tone/coloring: above with freckles, green/gray/blue eyes, warm brown hair.
Look you loved this week?: a pretty warm warm look using MakeupGeek singles, Looxi Beauty Bohemian, and topped with Fyrinnae Cosmetics Fantasy Creatures for some interest. Paired with Bite Beauty Maple. Here’s the look if you want to see!

Any new or old favorites discovered?: I used my Stila Heaven’s Hue Highlighter all week as well as CoverGirl + Olay Simply Ageless and Advanced Radiance foundations. Lots of old favorites!
