Fenty Beauty Flypencil Longwear Eyeliner ($22.00 for 0.01 oz.) is a new, permanent range of twist-up, pencil eyeliners that comes in 20 shades–I meant to purchase all of them but flubbed on doing so, as I only purchased 19, which are swatched in this post (I’m so sorry!!).

Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Wednesday, by “longevity”, do you mean how long the actual pencil lasts until it’s used up in the applicator or how long it wears on the eye? I’d be disappointed to blow through a pencil in a few weeks (it’s happened); of course, I also like the product to last through the day until I take it off.

Thanks, friend! That is good to know. Now I’m just hoping that the whole pencil doesn’t finish in a few weeks of daily use. I want to check these out in large part because I really don’t like sharpening pencils (it’s the real drawback with the Sephora pencils I otherwise love so much).

Some of these look very interesting, I have a weakness for eyeliners. My hooded eyes don’t show eye shadows so well but eyeliners are easy and fast to put on with great colour pay off. My list of maybes is growing longer by the day. Hopefully when I break my low/no-buy it won’t be a apocalyptic massacre.

Sephora left the caps off these for people to try for like one day and every one of them was dried out to the point of not being able to swatch. They also leave the caps off UD liners and this never happens. Just sayin!

Thank you for this info. I’ve had this issue with some other eyeliners and life being what it is, sometimes caps get left off or not securely tightened in my world. It also strikes me that if they dry out that easily they might not last too long in the drawer even with the caps on. Of course, everyone’s mileage may vary. I have never had a Chanel Stylo dry up on me no matter what I did, but some people complain they do …

I have She a Problem and Lagoon, and Moon Dunez is currently in my Sephora basket 🙂 These liners are really good! Just be careful when rolling them up, as they won’t roll back down. Not sure why that mechanism is there, but, it is. These are definitely my new favourite pencil liners, though ♥

Thanks, esp bec I’ve been avoiding going in. So often merch has been delivered, without the staff/hours to put it out. Now we can order, without a blind buy. Fenty can be iffy in performance, but seldom in interesting colors. Liner nerd sees 3 mandatory and other possibilities. The most interesting spring product thus far to me.

I have a lot of similar colors with my CP liners and am very happy with them. One shade that doesn’t look like any of my others that I think I’d get use out of is Bank Tank… maybe Moon Dunez. The blues are gorgeous, but I’ve had blues in the past and never ended up using them so I will admire from afar.

There are some uncommon shades there, so that’s a plus. I’m liking Moon Dunez, I hope it’s not patchy. I would also get some use from Purple Stuff, although that one is probably more dupeable. Looking forward to your reviews.
