Skin tone/coloring: Light, neutral skin tone, green eyes, s&p hair
Look you loved this week: I’m still on a Caviar Stick kick, so this look might be pretty much the same as last week, but it’s a look I’m still loving. // EYES: Benefit Precisely My Brow Pencil and Goof Proof Brow Pencil, both in Cool Grey (PMB to shape and GP to fill in); Laura Mercier Caviar Sticks (Au Naturel on lid, Amethyst in crease); Urban Decay 24/7 Eyeliner in Sabbath to tightline upper lash line; Clinique Lash Power Mascara. // FACE: Estée Lauder Double Wear Makeup in Desert Beige; Lancome Effacerne Concealer; Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Powder; MAC Glow Play Blush in Blush Please; Laura Mercier Matte Radiance Bronzer 02 around hairline, Laura Mercier Matte Radiance Highlighter 01 on cheekbones. // LIPS: Guerlain KissKiss Lipstick in Crazy Nude.
Any new or old favorites discovered: I‘be fallen head-over-heels in love with Guerlain KissKiss Matte Lipstick in Crazy Nude (it’s actually more of a medium/dark dusky rose). I bought it last year, but haven’t given it any attention until last week, and I’ve been wearing it almost every day since. Great shade for my skin tone and very comfortable and long-lasting. I’m thinking about getting another shade in this formula.
Any product you’re hoping to use next week? Laura Mercier Caviar Stick in Violet. I bought it recently, but haven’t gotten around to using it yet.
Your skin tone/coloring: Under my name (blue-green eyes).
Look you loved this week?: The only day I wore makeup this week was last Saturday and Sunday. And I have NO recollection of what I wore on either day! I only know that I did one eye look using MAC Satin Taupe and Nars Calisto. It was pretty, but not exactly exciting.
Any new or old favorites discovered?: Nars Calisto and MAC Satin Taupe e/s’s, MAC Handwritten, too.
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: Nope. I’ll be doing exactly what I’ve been doing for the past 4 ½ days; packing and cleaning stuff. No time to wear much makeup in the upcoming week, except possibly tomorrow.
Skin tone: Under my name.
Look I loved: I used my Vintage Rose palette pretty much the whole week. It has a combination of mattes and shimmers and all in shades I love so I mixed up different shades all week and loved them all. In general, this palette has been a work horse for me since I purchased it. I remember when I purchased it and opened, my daughter said, “Mom, that is you in a palette!” I used my Chosungah foundation, MAC Extra Dimension Skin Finish in Double Gleam, Chantacaille Butterfly Blush, Lisa Eldridge lipstick in Pink Skyscraper and I wore Waterlily perfume all week. All in all, a very spring week.
Nothing rediscovered but next week I will be using the Chanel lip palette and Pat McGrath Divine Rose.
Your skin tone/coloring: Light-medium, neutral
Look you loved this week?: Sheer, natural , radiant
Any new or old favorites discovered?: New – Glossier Perfecting Skin Tint and Lise Watier x SJL The Essential Duo All-in-One which is a gorgeous stick of cream blush in a nude rose on one side and cream champagne highlight on the other
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: Flower Beauty Blush Bomb in Melon
This is my first week using the Ole Henriksen Get luminous set and I believe I’m already seeing results. I plan to try the Drunk Elephant Baby Facial tonight and if I love it I plan to incorporate it into my weekly skincare regimen. I also tried Youth to the People Superfood cleanser which felt amazing and their Superberry overnight mask. I’m trying to have fabulous skin for the spring and summer. I also wore my new Orgasm X and Exhibit A NARS blushes and purchased my first NaTasha Denona palette, the Sunrise palette. I’m a Pat McGRATH Stan.
Your skin tone/colouring: Porcelain, with pink undertones
Look you loved this week?: On Saturday night when the family went out for dinner to a beautiful French restaurant, I did an olive eye look to complement what I was wearing. I used my Sultry palette of Teak all over the lid, Lancome’s Jade Fever’s Olive green on the lower lid and the pale gold shade in the corners. I paired it with EA’s Perfect Bronze lipstick, with Sephora’s Hong Kong by Night on top.
Any new or old favorites discovered?: Lancome’s Jade Fever. A beautiful set of green and olive shades with the most gorgeous light, pale gold shade.
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: I simply cannot predict!
Your skin tone/coloring: above with freckles, green/gray/blue eyes, warm brown hair.
Look you loved this week?: I did a murky green/olive/chartreuse eye paired with a peachy lip and cheek and then work a jewel blue top to contrast all of it, and I loved it so much!
Any new or old favorites discovered?: The Colourpop So Jaded palette has gotten a lot of love from me in the last couple of weeks. I like it more than I did when I originally purchased it, but it helps that I’ve been in the mood to wear color on my eyes.
Any product you’re hoping to use next week? I broke out some of my more springy lip colors, so I’m excited to use those. Specifically the Clinique Pep Start Lip Balm in Tangerine. I love that formula.
