Please keep discussion on-topic, and if you have general feedback, a product review request, an off-topic question, or need technical support, please contact us!

Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. Comments alerting us to typos or small errors in the post are appreciated (!) but will typically be removed after errors are fixed (unless a response is needed).

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Skin tone/coloring: Light, neutral skin tone, green eyes, s&p hair

Look you loved this week:
EYES: ColourPop Night Owl palette (Bel Air in crease, Lil Birdie on lid, Tweet Tweet on outer V), ColourPop Precision Brow Colour in Cool Cocoa, Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eyeliner in Smog on bottom lashline, Rimmel Retro Glam Mascara.
FACE: Estée Lauder Double Wear Makeup, Lancôme Effacernes Concealer, RCMA No Color Powder, Clinique Cheek Pop in Heather.
LIPS: Estée Lauder Knockout Nude.

Any new or old favorites discovered? CP’s Night Owl palette. I bought it at Ulta last year because I was bored and felt like buying something (a bad habit of mine). I brought it home and forgot about it as soon as I received the Going Coconuts palette, which came out a week or so later, if I remember correctly. After using it this week, I found that Night Owl is a great palette for workday looks. On a side note: It would have been nice if its shade names were more owl-oriented, like using hoot instead of tweet. 🙂

Any product you’re hoping to use next week? Continue rediscovering my neglected makeup.

Your skin tone/coloring: fair, cool
Look you loved this week?: I used Dior’s Celebrate in Gold on Thursday – #2 on the inner lid and inner corner, that gorgeous middle taupe shade (#3) on most of my mobile lid and #4 on the very outer lid and 2/3 of the crease. Sephora Cappuccino pencil liner, Marc Jacobs Submarine skinny liner for my upper water line, I think that might have been the day I mixed IT CC Cream with Algenist liquid highlighter/luminizer (a Christine suggestion), Dior Rosy Glow Awakening blush and MAC Craving on my lips. I had a training session at the gym later in the day and I was amazed, when I got home, that the eye look looked even better than when I started out the day (every thing had melted together in a good way – all smokey and smudgy)
Any new or old favorites discovered?: My Viseart Cashmere little palette. I’d put it aside for quite a while and used it today. It is so lovely.
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: The Natasha Denona Mini Glam palette. I really want to get more use from that baby!

Your skin tone/colouring: Porcelain, with pink undertones.

Look you loved this week?: The eye look I loved most this week was from the bareMinerals Soft and Smokey, where I had In the Buff (a beautifully soft peachy shade) all over the lid, with Midnight Luminance on the lower lid and Eureka in the crease. I paired it with CP’s Gallop lipstick.

Any new or old favorites discovered?: bareMinerals Soft and Smokey – I just wish the palette had a bronzey shade instead of two cream colours though.

Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: It so depends on what I am wearing, but I do hope to use Vice 2 and Stila in the Garden.

Your skin tone/coloring: Light/Medium – Neutral
Look you loved this week?: Natural, minimal makeup
Any new or old favorites discovered?: Old – rms “un” cover-up, New – Physicians Formula Organic Wear Dewy Blush Elixir in “Gorgeous Peach”
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: Currently working through my project pan for January, which consists mostly of cream products. Skin is looking very healthy and natural, I’m not ready to think about switching products for next month, maybe I won’t bother.

Look you loved this week?: What I wore today! I got a lot of compliments on. I wore the Blueberry Muffin shade from Berries & Cream with the Nebula shade from Mercury Retrograde. I wore the Besame Raspberry blush and the Laissez-Faire MAC lipstick.

Any new or old favorites discovered?: The BITE lip crayon in Midnight Rye. A great dupe for Velvet Decade in a creamier formula, and BITE toned down their scent. Love it.

Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: I hope to get my hands on CT Pillowtalk Intense Blush and lipstick this week and use those. OG Pillowtalk blush is my FAVORITE blush and most used.

Look you loved this week?: EYES — TFSI. Natasha Denona 5-Pan Palette in 03: Steel Blue (crease, using Wet n Wild Brulee to help blending), Smoke (deep crease, lower lashline), Metallic Steel Blue (lower lashline, outer 1/3 of lid), Cloudy Blue (inner 2/3 of lid), and Chromatic (foiled on the inner corner). CP The Big Three (brow bone). UD 24/7 Eye Pencil in Perversion (upper and lower waterlines). UD Perversion Mascara. LIPS — SmashBox Be Legendary Liquid Metal in Space Case. CHEEKS — CoverGirl Instant Cheekbones in Sophisticated Sable. FACE — ColourPop All Star Mattifying Primer; Revolution Conceal & Define Full Coverage Foundation in F0.2; RCMA No Color Powder; Sephora Color Contour in Tranquil; DIY setting spray.

Any new or old favorites discovered?: I’m very much loving the CP Butter Me Up Palette. The mauves, berrys and silvers are gorgeous, and the browns and the black are really wonderful, too. I’ve been using it a ton. Bonus: My husband loves every look I’ve done with it. It’s much more versatile than it appears.

Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: I got Lethal Cosmetic’s gorgeous grayscale custom palette featuring some really amazing versions of grays and silvers, including a “metallic slate gray with a blue/violet duochrome glitter”, and a pop of cool gold. I’d call the matte black shade more of a cool, very deep charcoal. Their arrangement is here and can be added as a bundled palette: https://www.lethalcosmetics.com/palette-designer . It’s utterly beautiful, and I think it will go great with the ND 5-Pan Palette in 03.

Your skin tone/coloring: Above with freckles, green/gray/blue eyes, warm brown hair.

Look you loved this week?: I used my PMGL La Vie En Rose palette paired with my ND Mini Lila for some transition shades. I used mostly Flint from the mini Lila for transition, and Euphoria from La Vie En Rose, then used Paranormal to deepen the outer corner. Paired with Cover FX blush duo in Soft Peach and Bite Beauty Luminous Creme Lipstick in Musk. I really loved this look and I love Euphoria. Such a unique purple.

Any new or old favorites discovered?: I was out of brow gel, so I tried e.l.f. Brow Wow, and I REALLY like it! It’s the first brow gel that i’ve tried that makes my brows look fluffy and also holds them in place. And so inexpensive!

Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: I’ll be at WDW all week, so I’m looking forward to using the makeup I’ve packed. Lots of faves and new combos.
