ColourPop Fred Lux Lipstick ($7.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a deeper, medium-dark red with moderate, cool undertones and a semi-matte finish. It had nearly opaque pigmentation in a single stroke, which delivered smooth, even coverage.
The consistency felt lightweight, thin without being clingy, and had a more velvety-feel that helped it apply without tugging. There was a smidgen of product that sank into my deeper lip lines but wasn't noticeable in person, just in the close-up photos. The color stayed on nicely for over six hours and left a stain behind, while the formula felt non-drying over time.
The collection will be restocked December 6th.
