Milani Petal Primevera Baked Blush Review & Swatches
Petal Primavera
Milani Petal Primavera Baked Blush ($8.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a soft, pink-coral with warm undertones and a satin shimmer. It had buildable pigmentation from semi-sheer to mostly opaque, which was partially due to the texture. It had a dustier, thinner feel, which resulted in the product sheering out more readily, though it was easy to blend out and diffuse on my skin. There was a soft sheen that gave it a skin-like finish, so neither totally matte nor overtly shimmery. It wore well for seven and a half hours on me before fading visibly.

The formula is supposed to be "buildable" that is available in a mix of "matte and shimmery shades." Most shades have medium to opaque coverage, can be built up usually (or sheered/blended out if desired), and have a soft, smooth texture that can run slightly powdery. The majority of shades I've tried apply evenly, blend out nicely, and last between seven and eight hours on me.

I really love the color. Even if it sheers out, it would probably be OK on really fair skin like mine. I really like the Milani Baked Blushes. I need to wear mine more. I can’t depot them, so I forget to wear them.
This is gorgeous and I need it on my pale face! I bought Dolce Pink recently because of the review here and I am in love with it, so I can see adding and using the heck out of this one too. Because I am so fair, I like a blush that starts out very sheer sometimes.
Hi Christine, so do you think this a nice product for someone who actually loves a sheer blush? I love the color, but was taken aback by the bad rating here.
Yes, I think so (assuming it will show up on you – it is lighter so it may not be as versatile for as many skin tones!).
Very nice shade, but way too light for me unfortunately.
The previously reviewed Milani blush reminded me so much of my well-loved pan of Essence Satin Love that it would have been a redundant shade.
This looks so delicate and pretty. Even though I’m not in the market for a new blush, I am tempted by this one.
Hey Christine,
Thanks for reviewing the new shades, will you be reviewing sunset passione too ? Canβt wait for it.
I reviewed it yesterday! π
Something about the look of the product in the container is really off-putting to me. It just LOOKS like it’s going to be dry and dusty.
It does look better swatched and applied, though.
