Comments that do not adhere to our comment policy may be removed. Discussion and debate are highly encouraged but we expect community members to participate respectfully. Please keep discussion on-topic, and if you have general feedback, a product review request, an off-topic question, or need technical support, please contact us!

Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. Comments alerting us to typos or small errors in the post are appreciated (!) but will typically be removed after errors are fixed (unless a response is needed).

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Coloring: Under my name. Green eyes, s&p hair

Favorite Look: EYES: Colourpop Precision Brow Colour in Cool Cocoa, Smashbox Cover Shot Punked Palette (Soft Punch in crease, Anarkissed on lid, Riot Girl on outer V), Marc Jacobs Highliner in Blacquer to tightline upper lid, Tarte Lights Camera Lashes Mascara, Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Desperation lightly smudged under outer third of lower lashes. FACE: Estée Lauder Double Wear Makeup, Lancôme Effacernes Waterproof Concealer, RCMA No Color Powder, Colourpop Blush Stix in Flamenco. LIPS: Colourpop Lux Lipstick in Cinderella (absolutely loving this shade!)

Most Used Products: Estée Lauder Double Wear Makeup, Lancôme Effacernes Waterproof Concealer, RCMA No Color Powder, Colourpop Precision Brow Colour, Tarte Lights Camera Lashes Mascara, and Colourpop Blush Stix.

Beauty Discovery: I don’t like the sparkly shade in the Kaja Chocolate Dahlia trio (too glittery and made my eyes itch), so I looked through my MAC singles collection and found that Era works very well with the other two Kaja shades. 🙂 However, I’m thinking that the Kaja sparkly shade might be kind of fun on my cheekbones for a night out.

Your skin tone/coloring: light to medium with yellow undertones, hazel eyes, brown and blonde wavy to curly hair

Favorite look from the week:
Bronzer on cheeks and as transition in the eye crease area, really buffed out, MAC Moon Shimmer blush, brown pen liner to line upper lash line (very close so as not really noticeable but to darken up and give density to the lashline), Sephora Flirting Game on lower lashline/waterline and buffed with MAC Satin Taupe, mascara, NYX Sand Beige lipliner (I wear this with everything to keep lipstick from feathering) PMG Flesh 5 on lips. A very dimensional 90’s look, but that’s my favorite look.

Your most used product this week: Smith & Cult Veiled Threat foundation – really enjoying this foundation. I’ve been reaching for it non-stop. The coverage and staying power are fantastic. It’s a perfect color match for me also. This covers like Estee Lauder Double Wear but has better longevity for me.

Any beauty discoveries (new or old): Smith & Cult Veiled Threat foundation – I just recently picked this up and I am very pleased that I did. I love this foundation. Satin-Matte coverage, EXCELLENT staying power, doesn’t break me out, no oily film after a few hours into wear, great coverage but it doesn’t look like you’re wearing any foundation. This is no different than any other of the foundations that I like except that after 3 or 5 or 7 hours, my face still looks exactly the same as when I first applied. Minimal if any oily-ness and no fading. All of my foundations fade after a while and I’ve just gotten used to it and have accepted it as normal but this foundation is a game changer. I have normal to oily skin for reference.

Your skin tone/coloring: Under my name; magenta/red hair; hazel/green eyes.

Favorite look from the week: I liked this so much I wore it three times this week, with different lip colors! EYES — UDPP in Enigma. Apocalyptic Beauty loose e/s in Christmas Ghosts: Recent (slightly sparkly warm apricot) applied very lightly from lid to brow, and MPZ loose e/s in Everything Looks Better on a Meat Hook (a warm reddish-plum with a hint of fine blue shimmer) on the lid. UD 24/7 Eye Pencils in Love Drug (lower lash line), Deep End (lower waterline), and Perversion (upper waterline). Medusa’s Makeup Witch Lash Mascara. LIPS — 1st time: NYX Butter Lipstick in Lifeguard lined with BH Cosmetics Waterproof Lipliner in Spiced; 2nd time: UD Hi-Fi Shine Ultra Cushion Lip Gloss in Hot Love; 3rd time: LORAC Breakthrough Performance Lipstick SPF 15 in Ingenue (my favorite of the three). CHEEKS — Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Pampered. FACE — NYX Angel Veil mixed with e.l.f. Hydrating Face Primer; BH Cosmetics Naturally Flawless Foundation in Ivory; RCMA No Color Powder; Sephora Collection Tranquil (contour); e.l.f. Blush in Gotta Glow (as HL); Apocalyptic Beauty Badass Setting Spray.

Your most used product this week: Everything listed in the look above except the lip products.

Any beauty discoveries (new or old):
*New discovery about old product — Medusa’s Makeup Witch Lash Mascara has improved. It’s not as wet and easily-smeared as it was the first time I tried it. I got another tube as a GWP, and it’s much better, though still not my favorite formula. It makes my lashes look great, though!

*Old — LORAC Ingenue. What a gorgeous, rich plum shade. How did I forget about it? The tube looks like I wore it once or twice and forgot about it. I won’t lose track of it again.

Your skin tone/coloring: Your skin tone/coloring: fair/cool skin (foundation matches: Fenty Pro Filt’r 110, Urban Decay All Nighter 2.5, NARS Natural Radiant Longwear 2.0 Mont Blanc, Kevyn Aucoin The Etherealist Light EF 02, L’Oreal True Match C3 Creamy Natural), gray eyes, brown hair with red highlights and scattered blonde/blue strands
Favorite look from the week: I don’t really have a favorite look from this week, so I’ll just list today’s look: Maybelline SuperStay Better Skin Ivory concealer, Huda Emerald Obsessions #7 as cheek contour, Fenty Pro Filt’r 110 foundation, Huda Emerald Obsessions #9 as highlighter, Tarte Unstoppable blush, Huda Emerald Obsessions #6 and #3 layered on lid, NYX Candy Slick Single Serving
Your most used product this week: I’ve methodically gone through all 4 of my NYX Candy Slick shades (Jawbreaker-tomato red, Jelly Bean Dream-hot pink, Birthday Sprinkles-pale mauvey pink, and Single Serving-burgundy) the past couple weeks, and they all look really good on me! I overapplied a bit and had to recalibrate on the darker 2, but they worked out. Other than that, my usual base products.
Any beauty discoveries (new or old): Candy Slicks are basically convertible lip colors-they’re really glossy if you apply them and don’t do anything else, but go more matte-not sheerer, more matte-if you blot them, which hasn’t happened with most of the other lip glosses I’ve used.

Your skin tone/coloring: above, with freckles, green/gray/blue eyes, warm brown hair.

Favorite look from the week: I did a really pretty plummy bronze look with the ND Star palette in conjunction with the ND Safari palette (<—- I use this palette almost every day; I'm so happy I purchased it!) I love mixing magenta and vibrant oranges together; it really suits my skin tone.

Your most used product this week: ND Safari palette, morning skin prep products, Beauty Bakerie Cotton Candy Champagne palette, and Tom Ford Lip Color in Casablanca

Any beauty discoveries… I recently cleared a bunch of make up out of my collection (gave a lot to my mom, who is only recently discovering her love for make up, which has been wonderful) and have found a lot of satisfaction and inspiration in having a smaller, well-curated collection of products that I truly love. I'm so tired of hanging on to products that I will never use. It was nice to be brutally honest with myself; I feel a huge weight has been lifted!
