The Fates is a deep, inky navy blue with subtle, cool undertones and a matte finish. The pigmentation was opaque in one layer, while the consistency felt velvety and smooth but denser, a little more substantial. I feared it wouldn't blend well but ended up having no issues with it in practice. It stayed on well eight and a half hours before fading a bit.
