Best of Pat McGrath Opulence Collection
Pat McGrath Opulence Collection is another winning launch by the brand with three highly-rated eyeshadow palettes and the specially-packaged lipsticks (all part of the permanent range) were fairly consistent with their permanent counterparts. I’m partial to the palettes, since those are limited edition, with my favorite being Subversive Metalmorphosis followed by Sublime Bronze Temptation.

I’m with you on the subversive metalmorphosis. When you first reviewed it, I said I would not buy it. I did not need another palette. But, that purple color kept calling to me. Lol. And then Sephora had 20% off for Rouge and Beauty Insiders. I saw it in the store and I knew what I had to do. I have worn colors from the palette twice. The pigments are rich and vibrant. I have no regrets.
YAY! Happy to hear it. It’s a stunning set of shades!
Stunning – just stunning. PMG is like a breath of fresh air in the cosmetic industry – beautifully pigmented eyeshadows and lipsticks.
My favs are Guinevere and Sublime Bronze Temptation.
I really enjoy her line – looking forward to what she releases in 2019!
I am not surprised by this. My daughter and I were using her holiday eye shadow releases this week and both remarked how they almost blend themselves, the shades are so pigmented you don’t have to dip into the palette more than once to get opacity that you want, the lipsticks are so comfortable to wear long lasting. Overall, her products are stellar and I am anxious to see what she does in the future.
Me too, Deborah! Can’t wait to see what’s next.
I really love the Subliminal Dark Star palette. I didn’t expect to love it the way that I do, but that gray is so perfect. I also really love Sublime Bronze. I sadly passed on Metalmorphasis bc it has two dupes from the original all shimmer palette. As much as my heart cries out for that purple, I have a dupe for it that will have to do.
Guinevere is such a beautiful color, I have it and it lasts so well! I got the matching liner on sale from the Pat McGrath website this morning and saw that the blitztrance lipstick in the orange color was in stock so I got that too. :3 I’m excited to get a lot of use out of these products now and in the new year!
I bought the Sublime Bronze Temptation palette. I’m extremely happy with it. I have gotten compliments when I used it, not only from my husband, but from acquaintances. One person told me you’re eye makeup looks so blended, just amazing. Lol. And, this was on vacation using a travel makeup mirror, that’s not as bright or as strong as the one I have home! I guess these shadows do blend themselves! Looking forward to more of her offerings. Now, I want to try some of those blitz lipsticks.
While I have yet to nab Omi in the special packaging, I did end up buying 2 of her MTHRSHP Palettes, Metalmorphosis and Bronze Temptation. Love them both so much, and enjoy putting together some very interesting and beautiful looks using them in conjunction with the larger Bronze Seduction palette!
I picked up Bronze Temptation at the VIB sale and just used it for the first time, I’m in love!!! It spoke to me the most out of the three because the shimmers have the multidimension/duochrome Pat is known for (albeit, not as intense as the VR shades from the full size palettes). I love the cranberry shade. Swatched the others, but I just didn’t feel that the shades were as unique so can’t justify those. Might be saving for a full sized palette on sale in the future now that I’ve dipped my toe in, though! Her products really are special. Gone from “$125?! That’s ridiculous!!!” to “I’m sold!”, lol!
