Marc Jacobs Beauty Le Marc Liquid Lip Crayon ($26.00 for 0.07 oz.) is a new, permanent formula that’s supposed to have the “wear of a liquid lipstick” but in a lip crayon format. The texture is soft and very creamy initially, and then it takes anywhere from five to fifteen minutes to “dry down.” The brand promises “16-hour wear” and that it “won’t dry or settle into lines.” Here are swatches of nine of the shades–my order of Blacquer hasn’t arrived yet.

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! I’m watching Emily Noel’s review on it as we speak and she loves it! If your going to get it, buy the Sephora Give Me Some New Lip Kit, because you get that shade in the full size, as well as 2 ore full sized items and 2 deluxe samples for the price of this Lippie alone!

Gah! Just when I was absolutely, positively sure I would never buy another lipstick because I have more than I can ever wear in a natural lifetime and they’re all slight variations on the same 3 or 4 colors that I like to wear, I see at least 2 that are calling to me. Strongly. Please Send Nudes!

I’m curious about these. I don’t know if I want them to score high or not, because I don’t wanna be too tempted lol

Is it just me, or does it look like they are a bit frosty? Maybe that’s not the right term… But they seem to have a multidimensional sheen there? Like there’s a bit of shimmer or fine glitter, not just a texture factor.
I can be totally mistaken though.

By the looks, these vary in formula. Some are quite the lip lines gatherers or uneven. There are quite different finishes, from frost to metallic, to fairly satin. Much as I might love to be critical in the negative sense, Burn Notice looks nigh on to perfect. So much for disregarding these! Isn’t that always the way?
