Sneak Peek: Marc Jacobs Beauty Le Marc Liquid Lip Crayons Photos & Swatches
Marc Jacobs Beauty Le Marc Liquid Lip Crayon ($26.00 for 0.07 oz.) is a new, permanent formula that’s supposed to have the “wear of a liquid lipstick” but in a lip crayon format. The texture is soft and very creamy initially, and then it takes anywhere from five to fifteen minutes to “dry down.” The brand promises “16-hour wear” and that it “won’t dry or settle into lines.” Here are swatches of nine of the shades–my order of Blacquer hasn’t arrived yet.
Wow, some of these look nice. Night Mauves might answer what I’ve been looking for — a warm rosy day-to-night option.
I’m watching Emily Noel’s review on it as we speak and she loves it! If your going to get it, buy the Sephora Give Me Some New Lip Kit, because you get that shade in the full size, as well as 2 ore full sized items and 2 deluxe samples for the price of this Lippie alone!
OMG thank you for this comment and that it’s in the set! I’m going to buy it right now! š
These look promising! I like the looks of Fram-bois and Burn Notice.
Gah! Just when I was absolutely, positively sure I would never buy another lipstick because I have more than I can ever wear in a natural lifetime and they’re all slight variations on the same 3 or 4 colors that I like to wear, I see at least 2 that are calling to me. Strongly. Please Send Nudes!
Plum and Get It is lovely, as is Merlot Boe. I look forward to the reviews!
Send Nudes and Night Mauves look really nice. I wonder how they are for moisture?
I’ve been looking forward to these! They look so vibrant! Idk about that 5-15 min dry down thing though…
I’m curious about these. I don’t know if I want them to score high or not, because I don’t wanna be too tempted lol
Is it just me, or does it look like they are a bit frosty? Maybe that’s not the right term… But they seem to have a multidimensional sheen there? Like there’s a bit of shimmer or fine glitter, not just a texture factor.
I can be totally mistaken though.
I don’t entirely trust the color on my monitor, but Fram-bois looks very promising.
By the looks, these vary in formula. Some are quite the lip lines gatherers or uneven. There are quite different finishes, from frost to metallic, to fairly satin. Much as I might love to be critical in the negative sense, Burn Notice looks nigh on to perfect. So much for disregarding these! Isnāt that always the way?
Hmmm, some beautiful colors here, but I’m not liking the finish on these–they look rather thick and heavy
Dang those brights look vivid! ā¤ļø Is it my phone???
I think they’re more vivid until they dry down. We’ll have to see how Christine weighs in on them.
The lip swatches were all taken 10 minutes after applying!
These look lovely! Hope they are not drying. I absolutely love Marc Jacobs lipsticks. Liquid as well. So good!
Burn Notice is my obvious favorite! Also love the looks of Night Mauves and Plum N Get It, too. Sad to see how patchy Merlot Blow applied, as I’m a lover of super vampy shades like this.
some of the colours look very nice, but I am not sure if the this is the effect I would like to get for a product with this price tag.
Well, I was prepared to ignore these as I don’t really like lip pencils in general, but these are really beautiful. I may just need to try these.
As far as colors, Plum and Get It is pretty, and I like all the pinks. Iām wondering about the formula though…some colors looks a little thick/heavy. Very interested in the reviews.
The dry down time and sort of frosty looking finish has me doubting these beauties.
I don’t love the way these look on the lips! The color looks a little patchy, but maybe that’s just the shimmer/glitter!
