Pat McGrath LaBeija, Lavish, Pink Ultraness LuxeTrance Lipsticks Reviews, Photos, Swatches
LaBeija
Pat McGrath LaBeija LuxeTrance Lipstick ($38.00 for 0.14 oz.) is a medium, peachy brown with strong, warm orange undertones and a satin finish. The texture was lightly creamy with a velvety, smooth feel that wasn’t too thick or too thin. The color payoff was opaque in a single stroke, though I felt like the overall look of this shade wasn’t as smoothing or as flattering as other shades in the formula. This one seemed to emphasize my deeper lip lines slightly with some color settled into the lines. It wore well for five hours and was hydrating over time.

Formula Overview
$40.00/0.14 oz. - $285.71 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to have a "intense color payoff" with "comfort" and "rich hydration" that has a "satiny sheen." Of the shades I've tried, they are richly pigmented, long-wearing, incredibly comfortable to wear from start to finish, hydrating, and generally flattering on the lips.
The texture was smooth, velvety, and creamy enough to glide across the lips with ease but never felt slippery or too clingy. Most shades performed exceptionally well, and while pricey, they at least lived up to a lot of the claims. There was no discernible scent or taste.

Lavish
Pat McGrath Lavish LuxeTrance Lipstick ($38.00 for 0.14 oz.) is a muted, dark brown with subtle, warm rosy undertones and a satin finish. The lipstick felt creamy enough that I had no trouble applying it to my lips as it did not drag, but it adhered exceptionally well to bare lips and did not emphasize my lip lines. It was richly pigmented with superb wear of six and a half hours. The formula was hydrating while worn–I hardly noticed I was testing a lipstick at all!

Pink Ultraness
Pat McGrath Pink Ultraness LuxeTrance Lipstick ($38.00 for 0.14 oz.) is a deep plum with cool undertones and a satin sheen. The pigmentation was opaque in a single stroke, while the texture was smooth, velvety, and lightweight with just enough creaminess to be comfortable to apply but not enough to make it slide around while worn. I had no issues with the color feathering outside my lips. It wore well for almost eight hours and was moisturizing over time.

Oh boy – I am normally not a big spender on lipsticks but I LOVE this formula! I have Realness, Major Red, and Sorry Not Sorry and can’t afford anymore right now but Lavish has to be next on my list. It’s stunning for fall/winter!
Love the way you describe the colour and texture of lipsticks, very helpful!
Lavish is the perfect shade for autumn. Beautiful.
These are all so beautiful!!! The way they look on your lips look so creamy and perfect. This formula is something else!!!
These are so beautiful. I am on a low buy for lipsticks right now as I have been going through them and determining which to keep and which to get rid of but when I am done and after the holidays, I will be getting a couple of these.
Lavish and Pink Ultraness have caught my eye.
Pat McGrath’s makeup is not available in my country, but I want LaBeija just for the name. So happy she is honouring the legendary House of LaBeija with a product of such good quality.
All beauties! It is Lavish, however, that has my attention. It looks like nothing else I own, for one thing! And its quality sounds remarkable, too. This *may* just be the one!
I really love LaBeija, too. Just not sure that I need it, though, as I have similar shades that aren’t listed as dupes. (And they probably aren’t, either. Just close enough)
Pink Ultraness is lovely! Almost wound up on my WL, until I saw that I have a near dead-on dupe in MAC Sí, Sí Me with another dupe on its way to me with Bite Mauvember 2017 Liquid Lipstick. I must have a thing for these fuchsia-plums, huh? ?
These just look so nice!
