Hi christina!
I was wondering if you would accept, one day, to create a look with the Milani products (eye shadows for ex.). The colours look gorgeous, but I’ve never seen a make up with it.

(I’d understand if you don’t really want to do that ^^)

Where are your finding Bourjouis???? I used to always used their liner pencils and loved them. Now they are gone from Sephora and QVC who both carried them and I have not found them again.

I’ve been disappointed by UD’s 24/7 eyeliners. I was so excited when I first got some but find they smudge badly – just don’t wear well. But their 24/7 eyeshadow pencils ARE GREAT, as are MAC’s Greasepaints – really long-wearing. For skinny pencils, 2 faves are Lise Watier (Canadian brand and so excellent, I can’t tell you) and GOSH – great pencils at a great price.

I love the Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliners. They have the best application, for me at least, of any eyeliner I’ve ever tried. They always go on smooth and even!

Actually, the bareMinerals eyeliners are suuuuper good!! I think they’re called big&bold. I’m not sure about the bold but it “big and something” definitely worth it a try!!

I love L’Oreal Chrome eyeliners as well! 🙂 Unfortunately, they used to sell in Canada and now i can’t find them anymore. Hopefully they are not obsolete. These are great pencils!

My fave is the Smashbox Limitless pencil. Lakme Eye Kajal is the blackest black I have ever come across, but it does smear a bit. Another great one is Sephora Flashy Waterproof.

I personally have a heart on for New York Color’s Waterproof eyeliner pencil. Especially their color Mink, which is a brown color with a rather glittery shimmer to it. Even though it’s a REALLY cheap drugstore brand (emphasis on the word “CHEAP” xD) I feel like you get more than your money’s worth for a $3.99 pencil.

Than again, I’ve never tried another brand of eye pencil to compare, so my word may not count for much. I’ll probably try a UD pencil after this pencil is done to compare.

L’Oreal and Milani are great- quality and price. For colors I can’t find in those two, MUFE is good, Urban Decay also but the few I’ve tried never go on quite as smooth as the others for me- although they are still good.
MAC Chromagraphic Pencils I’ve never tried- the few colors I would want as eye pencils can’t be used in the eye area.

I personally live the Stila kajal eye pencil! It’s smooth, goes on so easy, and is super super pigmented. Not the best staying power, but I can forgive that.

I really wanted to love UB 24/7 eyeliners because they do a lovely range of colour at a affordable price (the 15th annivery pack), but it smudges like hell no matter on my upper lash line or my lower water line 🙁

Gosh is quite good, but still smudges after a long day

Therefore I go back to Asian brands! Check out Dollywink! They are amazing, it doesn’t smudge and the packaging is cute 😀

I might need to check out those Milani ones. Thanks!

Maybe the next one should be “5 Great Liquid Eyeliners”? I’m still on the hunt for an awesome one.

I looove the UD ones. I have so many and I use them all the time. They don’t have a white though, so I may pick up a MUFA white pencil for my lower waterline, I’ve heard great things about how white brightens and opens your eyes and apparently the MUFA ones are waterproof enough to stay on the waterline.

Prestige Total Intensity eyeliners. Easy to apply, they don’t move, and inexpensive ($5.50; available at Ulta and some Rite Aids). They’re my eye pencil HG.

I think the UD 24/7 eyeliners are a bit overrated.

I already have the MUFE and Urban Decay liners in 01 and zero respectively. I really like how both of them wear, but they’re just not black enough, especially for the waterline. Between the Milani, L’oreal and Mac ones, which would you say has the absolute blackest black? Thanks!

I used to struggle with the UD 24/7 pencils, but have found if I dust the under eye lightly with Laura Mercier Invisible Setting powder they don’t budge. MUF pencils are just a tad bit too firm for me.

Pencils – well
1) UD 24/7
2) BRAND NEW – just coming out now – TARTE Amazonian Clay liner pencils – no need to sharpen – they are like the old aqua gel liners from TARTE but way better – last and are waterproof.
3) Make Up Forever Aqua Eyes – mostly used for accent color over my main liner shade – or a silver to pop the inner corner.

Thanks for the post – I will try L’Oreal HIP & Malini.

My faves are those listed above (haven’t tried MAC or Milani yet) as well as Bourjois Metallise liners. There are not too many colors available in the U.S. unfortunately. All I’ve been able to find at Ulta are Bleu clinquant #54 (same color as UD Electric and MUFE 7L), and Vert pepite #55 (matches UD Shattered). They are soft and glide on just like 24/7s, the only difference is they are LITERALLY impossible to remove. They adhere to the eye like tar. If you were to try to remove them in one shot your eye would be damaged. I wash my face twice a day and the liner still stays on for 2-3 days.

I’ve only tried urban decay liners but I’ve heard so much about Milani I’m eager to try. I think I’ll pass on the MAC liners unless I can get them as a gift. LoL

I really wanted to love UD 24/7, but they just melt off of me – And I don’t have oily lids :S
I love Prestige Total Intensity eyeliners. Smooth like 24/7, stays on. And the perfect dark colors!

Hannah Avatar

I LOVE the MUFE aqua eyes. They’re the only high end ones i’ve tried, but i love them so much i have no need to try any others. I’m the kind of person who sticks to what i know works.
My two favorite ELs in general are MUFE Aqua Eyes and MAC Fluidline. I’ve cried with both on and neither of them left streaks behind. And they both stay on the waterline (although MUFE starts to transfer SLIGHTLY from the top to bottom waterline, but only after several hours…)
🙂
