Beauty Powders “can be applied as a highlight, soft blush, or overall finish,” according to MAC. This originally came out many years ago, and then it was repromoted in March of last year; nothing new to report here, but I’ll confirm that it is the same color as the last version released and feels a little softer, not quite as firmly pressed in the pan. It’s still not quite as dense or as soft as my original powder. It’s blendable, has buildable coverage, and wears for eight hours. The shimmer doesn’t emphasize pores and gives the skin a nice, luminous sheen.

I really have to try this one — a light, cool pink with silver shimmer instead of gold, perfect! (maybe — it might be too much shimmer for me — but, I’ve got to try it, it’s been on my wish list since the last time it came out). It looks very pretty on you, Christine. It always amazes me how well you wear all different kinds of colors!
Definitely give it a try! I think you can tamp down the shimmer if you prefer subtler shimmer, too, with this product.
I still love it! Unfortunately though, there are just too many other things coming out that I have GOT to get! Yeah, February will be an expensive one, if all goes well.
Fingers crossed for you, Nancy 🙂
This looks stunning, I might have to invest!
Awesome!
I knew I had heard of this! I got the one last March and it’s not even got a dent. So, I’ll be passing.
Phew 😀
Gah! This is beautiful. Definitely a blush or blush topper for my skintone. It perfectly picks up the pink in your eye look.
Would work well paired with blush!
Such a pretty powder! I can only use as a blush though. I have cooler, yellow undertones, and pink-based highlighters and finishing powders usually don’t look right on me
Does it highlight at all? Like a highlighting blusher?
I’ve only swatched in store. I think it can be used as a subtle blush/highlighter on my cheeks. I’ve never tried any of the beauty powders, but kind of curious, but they tend to run too pink or warm peach for me to use all over my face. As soon as they launch a cool, light champagne beige, I will pounce on it!
I don’t think most of them work all-over unless you’re really dead-on for the undertone/color! They remind me of MSFs in that the function changes depending on skin tone.
Very pretty and fresh! I also appreciate this product’s versatility.
It does fit well for a spring collection!
Love how luminous this looks on your skin!
It has a nice finish!
Since the Barbie collection this has been a favorite to wear as blush for me. I’m happy seeing it each time they bring it back. It is nice seeing all of them. Thanks Christine! MAC blush cravings coming back hard. ?
No problem, Kam!
Very pretty. I love a good highlighting blush, usually works well on us pale people.
That’s great!
Gah! So pretty! *scribbling it down on my list*
Enjoy, Deborah! 🙂
That’s a really pretty colour on you Christine.
Thank you, Genevieve!
This looks delicious! It’s going on my want list!
Yay!:)
