Please keep discussion on-topic, and if you have general feedback, a product review request, an off-topic question, or need technical support, please contact us!

Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. Comments alerting us to typos or small errors in the post are appreciated (!) but will typically be removed after errors are fixed (unless a response is needed).

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

My faves – 2 eyeshadows – MAC Tempting (had it and loved it for years despite its “issues”) and Too Faced Ever After (from the Romantic Eye Palette, which I think is discontinued now). For my face, MAC’s LE (and also discontinued) By Candlelight MSF – it’s about as brown as I can go for a face product but it has a lovely sheen and is a great highlighter or blush “topper”.

Oh, I know about Maui Wowie only too well. I even bought a SECOND one in the new formulation in hopes it wouldn’t have the non-stop fallout but, alas, it’s just as bad as the original. With Tempting, though, the only problem I have is getting it to show up the way it looks in the pan (often the case with MAC’s Lustre shadows) BUT the perfect solution is to use UDPP in “Sin” as a base. Tempting then comes to life applied over it. I only wish it would work with Maui Wowie….but it doesn’t stop the all day glitter snow-fall of MW!

My sparkliest shadow is Chanel New Moon. I missed the first LE launch, then they brought it back, and after seeing all the rave reviews, I finally caved. It’s gorgeous, like wearing jewelry on the eyes. I love to pop it on top of neutral shadows to give them a wow factor.

So many pretties here. The only one I have is So Quiche, but OMG I love it. It looks fabulous with hazel/green eyes like mine. I also like to use Too Faced Gilded Truffle on my lid and pat So Quiche over top on the center for some extra oomph. In general, ColourPop’s sparkly shades are my favorites. The sparkles are amazing and actually stay in the base.

UD Urban Decay Pulp Fiction Heavy Metal Glitter Eyeliner in Gunmetal is my favorite sparkly eyeliner. E.l.f. Essential Glitter Mascara is fun to put on the tips of lashes, but I think it’s been DC’d.

I also really like BareMinerals Illuminating Mineral Veil in Original for some extra sparkle on the face. It’s pretty but doesn’t make me look like a disco ball.

I got a manicure Wednesday, and had the salon put on Gelish Showstopping. Wow! So sparkly, and I’m in love with the weird but stunning gunmetal/olive/gold color.
