Bobbi Brown Citrus High Shimmer Lipgloss ($23.00 for 0.24 fl. oz.) is described as a “bright coral with pearl.” It’s an orange-coral base with pink, gold, and silver shimmer. MAC Strictly Plutonic gives similar color but has no shimmer. NARS Viva is more opaque and has no shimmer. MAC Dynasty at Dusk is lighter and less sparkly. Chanel Coral Reef is pinker.

Citrus wore for four and a half hours, and I’ve probably worn it half a dozen times since photographing it a few weeks ago.  I recently added it to the other two Bobbi Brown High Shimmer Lipglosses I keep in my purse for on-the-go color.  It tints my natural lip color a darker coral color; it’s not really opaque such that it masks my natural lip color, but it does significantly alter mine by darkening and brightening it.  It has a high shimmer content that makes it less see-through.  Overall, I’d say it’s closer to being semi-sheer than semi-opaque, but the shimmer masks some of that sheerness.  The range varies from sheer to semi-sheer bordering on semi-opaque.  It’s moisturizing, comfortable to wear, and not gritty (nor does the sparkle travel).

That lipgloss is gorgeous! On you and in the container both. I have never really worn Bobbi Brown before but I want this.

I might have to grab this! I love sheer, sparkly coral glosses for days when I’m not wearing much makeup, but want something on my lips. This looks perfect!

I’ve been wanting to get one of these glosses for a while but I’m having trouble deciding which one would be best for me. I’m really pale with cool undertones and my lips are really pigmented. I’m leaning towards this one but I keep changing my mind all the time. Which one do you think would look best for my coloring? Thanks!!
