The Colorful Blush formula is supposed to be long-wearing, buildable, and have a lightweight texture. My experience with the formula has shown that they’re soft, lightly powdery at times (some are worse than others) with semi-sheer to semi-opaque color coverage that blends fairly well and lasts seven to eight hours. There is some variance between shades, but there are some gems in the range. I’m Shocked is easily the most pigmented and intense shade that I’ve come across in the Colorful Blush line-up. It had semi-opaque to opaque coverage, but it was a harder blush to sheer out unless used with a very feathery brush and light touch. The texture was firm without being dry or powdery, while the blush blended out without too much trouble, it isn’t foolproof. It has a natural finish where it doesn’t read shimmery on the skin, but it doesn’t have a flat, matte finish either. It wore for nine hours before fading on me.

If you had to pick either this or Mac Azalea, which would be better quality?
They’re a bit different in color + finish, but as far as quality goes, this received an A- and Azalea received an A.
Not bad! But I personally really love MAC Azalea from yesterday quite a lot more, and some of the bright fuschia-magentas from ColourPop such as Pie and Pegacorn, too.
This one reads more spring-time, light and bright flush, while Azalea makes me think of summer with the more shimmery finish!
Wow, another bright one! It’s nice they have such pigmented options for darker skintones
Always nice to have options!
That is bright!
It is!
Whoa! That is bright. Probably too pigmented for me, but I think it’s stunning. I’d love an eyeshadow that color.
It would be a lovely eyeshadow hue!
love where to buy! so useful
Thanks!
Oh, I have this one and I love it! It’s not my everyday blush, but it gets used quite a bit. I am quite fair and I use a fan brush and a light hand when I apply it, or I’d end up looking like a clown. I find it quite easy to work with.
I really like this collection, Sephora has doen a good job with it. At the same time I bought this, I bought So Shy a total contrast to I’m shocked.
Happy you have this one, Helene! Fan brush is perfect for this one. Even on my skin tone, fan brushes work well for me with something like this!
