The Spring Season: Shiseido PK 224 “Sugar Babe” Lipstick
Shiseido PK224 Perfect Rouge Glowing Matte Lip Color ($25.00) is a softened pink with a yellow undertone. It has a very glossy look to it in the light–completely the opposite of matte, despite the product name–and is incredibly creamy. In more natural/darker lighting, it has a semi-matte appearance. It’s moisturizing and fairly long-wearing, too–I get about three to four hours of wear in this particular shade.
Is this the right pink lipstick for you? Would you wear it?
The Spring Season is a series of posts featuring my favorite soft beige, coral, and pink lipsticks and lipglosses — all perfect for the first blossom of spring — that runs through March 2010.
Pretty <3 but I dont know why SSD means skincare & SL perfume to me, I'm so indifferent to their cosmetics.
This is gorgeous! It looks like your lips but the colour is so even and makes your lips so soft.
This is so gorgeous!! The colour is amazing!
Great color !!
wow, when i swatched at my hand it was really quite matte! maybe i should try it on my lips instead. really pretty on you!
That is the perfect nude shade for you!
Very cute on you. You have light lips though. The color was nice on me too, but it lightened my lips and made then less pink, so I got the light mauve-gray color instead, as it changed my look more.
could you doll and tell how you ‘prepped’ your lips for this lipstick? i have this and it comes off so matte on my lips!! i was set on returning it, but seeing how it looked on your lips, i may have a change of heart!!
Nothing, honest, lol! I had just removed another lipstick before, so no prep 🙁
I have this in BR323 and it is the perfect color for me. 🙂 I am very happy with it as it is long wearing and doesn’t do harm to my usually dry lips. 🙂
i tried this on today and I loved it.! im glad to see u have a good review for it!! only thing bad: it makes ur chapped lips look even worse!! i need some lush lip scrub before this 🙂
Christine, I am wondering if you would do a dupe for Inglot lipstick 224, please, please, please? Thanks!
@MartyFrazierBontumasi I don’t have that, sorry!
