MAC Objects of Affection/Nude + Coral Lipglass ($35.00 for 0.32 fl. oz.) includes three Cremesheen Glasses and one Dazzleglass. Again, I’ve reviewed these shades in the past, so this is just a quick overview with photos and swatches.

Stately Shimmer is a sheer peach with pink-peach shimmer. View dupes.

Fashion Whim is a milky, peach-orange with subtle gold shimmer. View dupes.

Rising Sun is a medium orange with gold shimmer. View dupes.

Courtly Coral is a muted orange-brown with pink and gold sparkle. View dupes.

Each year that MAC releases these sets, I say the same thing: these are an excellent value. Generally, both of these formulas are low on value–there really isn’t much in those large plastic tubes (they look way bigger than they are). Cremesheen Glass retails for $20.00 for 0.09 fl. oz., while Dazzleglass retails for $20.00 for 0.06 fl. oz. Yeah, the amount contained in the tube in this set is more than a full-sized Dazzleglass–go figure! This set includes $53.33 worth of Cremesheen Glass and $26.67 worth of Dazzleglass, so it is a total value of $80.

The Cremesheen Glass formula is creamy, light-to-medium in weight, non-sticky, vanilla-scented, and very comfortable to wear. Unfortunately, they’re often milky, so they can settle into lip lines, and they wear away within one to three hours (usually about two for me except for some of the deeper/more pigmented shades). It is a sheerer formulation, so they can be used for layering as well. Dazzleglass is a medium weight, sticky, vanilla-scented, sparkling gloss. It is also a sheerer formula to wear, but the sparkles distract from possible settling for the most part. The formula wears longer, due to the tackiness, but can vary from two to five hours.

The collection launches online on October 23rd.

I really like these sets!
One question pops into my head: When they run out are you able to back 2 mac them, and if so do they go as one item or four? 🙂

I think they said something about it going against some law. I think I’ll have to ask again. I do keep my empties, just incase I go abroad and find myself at a MAC counter 🙂
Do you know if it’s OK to Back 2 MAC depotted, I just forgot the word, complete blank, how annoying, the outer plastic packaging without the little metal thingy. Total English language breakdown! So sorry. :O

As Christine said, it depends on the location, it’s such a pain. Some people on swap forums and groups will take MAC empties as part of swaps, so even if you can’t get somewhere, you may be able to get some use out of them 🙂

… well, three of them are non-milky! 😀 I mean, I like a vaguely sparkly gloss as much as the next person, but the three sparkly ones kind of all look the same on. I know it’ll depend on people’s skintontes/lip pigmentation levels, but… meh.

It is kind of nice that they make their glosses better value at least once a year though, LOL! 😀
