MAC Heirloom Mix Cremesheen Glasses Reviews, Photos, Swatches
MAC Heirloom Mix Cremesheen Glasses
MAC Ceremonial Cremesheen Glass ($22.50 for 0.09 oz.) is described as a “hot pink with sparkles.” It’s a fuchsia pink with cool, blue undertones and very fine violet shimmer. It had semi-sheer coverage applied, and it did settle slightly into lip lines. It wore well for two and a half hours and was lightly hydrating while worn. MAC Vibrant Vibe (P, $22.00) is similar. Revlon Berry Allure (P, $7.99) is less shimmery. MAC Imperial Red (LE, $19.00) is more muted. MAC Call Me Gorgeous (LE, $20.00) is more opaque. L’Oreal Dazzle Me (LE, $9.99) is more shimmery, warmer. See comparison swatches / view dupes.
MAC Courting Chic Cremesheen Glass ($22.50 for 0.09 oz.) is described as a “deep berry red with gold sparkles.” It’s a medium-dark, cool-toned red with gold sparkle. It had semi-opaque color coverage, which applied fairly evenly, though some color settled into lip lines. It lasted for three hours on me and was hydrating while worn. MAC Sultana (LE, $20.00) is darker, less shimmery. MAC Hell Bound (LE, $15.00) is warmer. MAC Restless (LE, $15.00) is warmer. L’Oreal Sparkle Frenzy (LE, $9.99) is redder, brighter. Dior Ceremony Red (LE, $28.00) is lighter. Chanel Triomphal (LE, $32.00) is more opaque. Bobbi Brown Black Ruby (P, $24.00) is slightly darker. See comparison swatches / view dupes.
MAC Romantic Overture Cremesheen Glass ($22.50 for 0.09 oz.) is described as a “clear base with sparkles.” It’s not quite clear–it’s more like a peach-tinted base with a smattering of champagne sparkle. It definitely adds warmth to the lips, but it doesn’t add much color. It lasts an hour and a half on me, unfortunately, though it is comfortable to wear. There’s not much to it, so there are several similar shades that tend to look the same applied: See comparison swatches / view dupes.
MAC Seeking Adoration Cremesheen Glass ($22.50 for 0.09 oz.) is described as a “plummy pink.” It’s a cool-toned, medium-dark pink with subtle gold pearl. It had semi-sheer color payoff and applied evenly for the most part. The consistency was comfortable to wear, hydrating, and lasted for two hours. Sisley Paris Berry (5) (P, $50.00) is less glossy, brighter. NARS Sixties Fan (P, $26.00) is darker. NARS Quito (P, $26.00) is brighter. Chanel Tocade (182) (P, $29.50) is brighter. MAC New Love (P, $22.00) is lighter. MAC Fashion Perk (P, $22.00) is similar. Milani Berry Tempting (05) (P, $5.49) is less shimmery. Maybelline Amethyst Potion (045) (P, $8.99) is cooler-toned, less shimmery. Revlon Berry Allure (P, $7.99) is darker. MAC Mall Madness (LE, $15.00) is more muted, less pink. See comparison swatches / view dupes.
MAC Social Season Cremesheen Glass ($22.50 for 0.09 oz.) is described as a “violet with blue sparkles.” It’s a semi-sheer, muted fuchsia pink with silver and violet sparkle. It applies fairly evenly and feels comfortable to wear as it has a very creamy consistency. The color only lasts for two hours, though. Revlon Sugar Violet (P, $7.99) is less shimmery. MAC Rhythm (LE, $15.00) is warmer. L’Oreal Dazzle Me (LE, $9.99) is similar. Bobbi Brown Electric Violet (P, $24.00) is cooler-toned. See comparison swatches / view dupes.

loving Courting Chic! it’s very christmassy, without the tackiness. You wear all these shades well! x
It is a pretty shade!
Ditto – Courting Chic is the one that stands out for me. 🙂 It’s on the consideration list. 🙂
LOVE Courting Chic!
Yay!!
The arm swatch and in the tube, Courting Chic is to die for! :O
Courting Chic is the most interesting, I think!
I a set of shade like this that makes be understand why woman are addicted too lipgloss shade. They’re SOO pretty together!!!
But the 6 glosses I have right now is really too many. lol
Haha! Are you determined to use up the six you have first?
I’m not much a fan of MAC Cremesheens – while I like Seeking Adoration and Social Season, I think I would still prefer to get a Bobbi Brown High Shimmer LG!
I like the texture of them, but between the poor amount you get for the money, short wear time, and general these-all-look-the-same-applied vibe most give off, they’re low on my list of formulas to wear.
I am so not even a gloss person, and I think they’re all gorgeous.
Score! 🙂
These are pretty glosses! I like all of them for colour, although I probably wouldn’t bother with the clear/sparkles ones. i’m kind of impressed that they managed to restrain themselves from releasing a milky one, LOL! 😉
Hurrah!
I really like Courting Chic and, though I would have liked it to be more blueish, Social Season. I kind of like them all, but I might get Courting Chic. I have something that remainds me of Socila Season.
Courting Chic was my fave of these!
I love Courting Chic but I already have Hellbound so I guess I don’t need it (and Hellbound doesn’t settle into lip lines that much on me. I’m saving money thanks to your dupe list again Christine! 🙂
No prob, Lulle!
Not surprisingly, a lot of these are duped by the Bobbi Brown High Shimmers, and if I’m going sparkly, I’m going Bobbi!!
Social Season looks like galaxy lips and/or magic!
Courting Chic looks fabulous! I bet it’ll look stunning in with a red lip liner underneath!
I think all of these are very pretty, and would be great over lipstick especially. Courting Chic is far-and-away my favorite.
Courting chic is definitely my favorite.
Majes ne happy!!! Pretty colors an good reviews!!! Yeyyyy
Glad you’re liking them!
I was hoping Ceremonial and Seeking Adoration would be a little more opaque but I like them. They’re my type of colors.
Why even bother MAC? IMO, I don’t see one that looks unique. There isn’t one that I see that is a must have or something that I’ll have Skipper’s Remorse over. For $23 I’ll buy one of the lippies from their new lippie line.
I never understand why they release so many Cremesheen Glasses in the color collection, when they roll out 3 or 4 sets of them a week later.
Courting Chic needs to be mine!
Enjoy, Melanie!
Just ordered Courting Chic- such a gorgeous Blair Waldorf during Christmastime shade <3- and Enchantment. Low on cash but couldn't resist those two!
Yayyyy! 🙂
