Please keep discussion on-topic, and if you have general feedback, a product review request, an off-topic question, or need technical support, please contact us!

Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. Comments alerting us to typos or small errors in the post are appreciated (!) but will typically be removed after errors are fixed (unless a response is needed).

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Christine, how do we choose “other”? I couldn’t even start to vote as my favourite high end brand (first category) isn’t there so I want to choose “other” but don’t know how.

I don’t believe that is what she was asking. There was no option of “other” for any of the categories so its not possible to list anything other than what’s listed. Unless I’m missing something as well.

Hi Lisa,

Nominations are over – the voting is on the top 10 (or up to 15, if there were ties in number of nominations) – so we aren’t collecting write-in data at this time. You are not required to vote in every category, so you can skip any category you want!

I had to pick my 2nd fave mascara as lancome monsieur big wasn’t on the list and that is my baby! Love these surveys x

Mine too! I’m shocked no Lancome mascaras made the cut. They are the best. I’ve tried all the other high-ends up there and none of them even come close! Shocking.

ahhh sad to see L’oreal lash paradise mascara or smith and cult nail polish brand didn’t make the cut 🙁 Esp. the latter so slept on, amazing polishes that stay on natural nails for a week!! (they aren’t advertised as gel or long-lasting or anything they are that good!)

How was Loreal Voluminous Lash Paradise left out of the vote? That was undoubtedly the most hyped drugstore mascara released last year

It did not have enough nominations to make the top 10! There are often anywhere from 30-100 different nominations, but the voting only occurs for the top 10 (or up to 15 if 10, 11, etc. are all tied).

It might not have made the cut because of how difficult it is to get a hold of. I know I’ve been dying to try it and my shade has been sold out since practically the first week it was available.

I’m shocked too that Lash Paradise didn’t make it; I feel like everyone has been raving about it this past year.

It’s interesting to me that so many of my favorites didn’t make the cut to be voted on. It’s okay though, nice to see what everyone else is enjoying and discover new things.

I guess I’m mostly surprised The Ordinary’s foundation lines didn’t make it, but could be that they’re always sold out. I feel both lines (serum and coverage) are pretty amazing in terms of color selection for a very fair price, and it comes in a pump bottle!!

I’m also suprised Lash Paradise didn’t make the cut since it’s so hyped up on the internet. I have yet to try it myself.
