The Sydney Grace Eyeshadow range is pretty massive, so it’s easy to get overwhelmed if you’re interested in trying some shades out together or are trying to put together your own palette. You can check out our product overview for all four of the different pressed eyeshadow formulas, see how well they performed along with top performers and recommended shades. I’ve put together nine 9-pan palette ideas, and I’ve re-shared some of the past palettes I’ve put together. Good luck!

About This Series

Each look idea is centered around a “quad” of four shades with the expectation that one might bring in the appropriate brow bone or additional transitional shade based on skin tone. I know that I tend to use more like five or six shades in a typical look, but I think that four is a happy medium to give a good idea of the “core” color scheme of a look while giving you the ability to lighten/darken as desired. I have listed the colors in this order: inner lid, middle of lid, outer lid/crease, and crease/above crease.

You might see combinations that seem slightly repeated but placement will vary (e.g. a halo placement where the lightest and more shimmery shade is placed on the center) as placement can also create a different effect/look! You might also want to consider incorporating your favorite matte/shimmer shades (as applicable) to increase the versatility of certain palettes. Consider these ideas a jumping off point!

These are ideas I put together previously, but I’ve rounded them up for this post! 🙂 You can also find 27 eyeshadow quad ideas that I put together awhile ago. There are also tons of four-shade color stories I’ve shared using Sydney Grace single eyeshadows, too, for various themes.

These are all so lovely! I especially love the Vintage Rose and different violet palettes. Even though I pick up SG shadows piecemeal, somehow they always seem to go together well. 🙂

Having just added several more fantasy palettes to my repertoire, I noticed that there was no way to hit “love” or save Surfs Up? Which is one of my top picks along with Forest Greens, Plum-tastic and Purple Tendrils. Because y’know, purple tones and all the greens!

What I love most about SG’s singles is that they are so versatile – nearly all of their shades can be paired with another colour to make an eye look zing or to tone it all down. When you create these possibilities for us Christine, it helps us to imagine how we can make the most out of our eyeshadows. Thank you so much. I am drawn to Forest Greens and Rich Sunset.

Thank you so very much for this post!! I thought I had a lot of their shadows. Nope!! You are the reason I am a Sydney Grace fan. 🙂 🙂 🙂
