YSL Rebelle (7) Blush Volupte Review, Photos, Swatches
YSL Rebelle (7) Blush Volupte
YSL Rebelle (7) Blush Volupte ($47.00 for 0.31 oz.) is a softened, medium orange with warm, yellow undertones and a semi-matte finish. Surratt Beauty Cantaloup (P, $32.00) is lighter, brighter, yellower. Guerlain Orange Blush (LE) is brighter. Givenchy In Vogue Orange (P, $44.00) is similar. MAC Honey Jasmine (LE, $21.00) is slightly brighter. NARS Gina (P, $29.00) is darker, browner. MAC Blazing Haute (LE, $25.00) is yellower, lighter. Illamasqua Lover (P, $26.00) is a smidgen lighter. Inglot #45 Face Blush (P, $10.00) is darker, brighter. See comparison swatches / view dupes.
This is the last shade I bought from the Blush Volupte range. I thought it was interesting that between the three I have, they each had a different finish, with Rebelle (7) having the least shimmery, more matte of the finishes. It had fairly good color coverage, though I wouldn’t describe it as “intense color payoff.” The texture has a soft, finely-milled, silky feel to it but is also slightly powdery. Luckily, it does not appear powdery, dry, or cakey on my skin when applied as a blush and blended/worked into the skin. There’s just enough satin in the finish to avoid it looking flat or dull on the skin, and the coverage is buildable to truer-to-pan color if desired. This shade wore well for eight hours on me before it started to show signs of wearing away.

Gorgeous!
It is a nice shade!
This one is my favorite so far! I can’t wait to check out these blushes, in person!
I look forward to hearing your thoughts on them once you have!
From the ones you’ve showed so far this one is definitely my favorite in terms of color.
Woohoo!
You are killing me with these blushes! They are so pretty, I love the shade selection (and let’s not talk about the beautiful packaging)!
Good thing this is the last one I bought!
oh no i might need this one! even though I have so many peachy blush i am still waiting for the perfect one :/
Aww! I hope you find it one day!
Wow that is very orange! I like it but could not pull it off if you paid me.
Totally understand!
Hi Christine!!
Any idea when sephora will be doing there usual October 20% (sometimes 15%) ? I have like 15 things in my cart that I am itching for. Last year, I rushed and bought 200+ worth of things and then 2 weeks later the discount code came out! Not making that mistake again!
Hi Becky,
If and when I receive any information, I will be sure to post. Sephora usually doesn’t announce until very close to the actual dates!
Thanks so much for responding! I use your blog every day for work 🙂
This one I like! Might have to pick it up. Do you know if there are any pinky coral ones? I just can’t tell from the online pics!
I think there are, but I’m not sure which would be best.
That is a really pretty peach. It looks great on you.
This definitely doesn’t look like intense color pay off to me. I think the bold color helps it look a little more intense. I like it though
Again, this gorgeous coral color is stunning on you!
The color is really fresh and pretty on you! On myself, I prefer something a touch darker, like NARS Gina!
This is such a stunning shade and looks really beautiful on you! As always, YSL’s packaging is perfect.
Looks lovely on you. I think it would be too warm for me, unfortunately as it is a beautiful colour.
This one has a really glowing edge to it! 😀 So orange! So pretty!…so Orange! Mind you, I totally love orange/peach blushes. I think they look really good on my cool vampire skin, somehow (LOL, might be just me!)
Hi
I love blush shades like this.
But $47… I’ll look at the dupes
