Advent calendar: what a cute idea! We seldom see anything with such a marketing twist. The carry-all looks well packaged for travel. The blockbuster runs a tad dark, but it is, after all a winter collection. Blushes are unmistakably Tarte. Slight variations on their best sellers. Tarte blushes are uneven, but seldom total duds. This seasonal offering should do well for Tarte’s many fans. Hope they fare well, should you review them. Does Tarte have an F+F before XMAS? The packaging seems more compelling than the products.

Good God these are tempting!! I have only tried a blush from Tarte so far, this seems like the perfect opportunity to try some more products!

OMG, the blush palette. But that packaging. I don’t like it this year. It looks like it’ll feel… really gritty? But it could just be the design of it. I’m just glad I don’t have a wallet in that style ‘cos imagine picking up that one by accident and then going to pay for something..

How exciting! Christine, do you happen to know when the Pin Up Girl palette will be available? (I read your post twice but may have missed it). I am ordering it the very moment it hits online!

This is all the info I have regarding availability: “Availability: October at ULTA / Sephora.” They didn’t give a specific date!

Tarte has good holiday sets and these seem like great deals for the price. Just might get one. I like the look of the 20 piece eye shadow palette. If it has any good greens, I’m sold!

I’ll definitely have to pick up some of these! I really like the look of that blush palette, I missed out on the one they brought out last year so I’ll probably try to get this one x

I’m excited for other that there doing another Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush Palette but it’s a pass for me. I just whittled down my Tarte blush shades to two I like Dollface and Tipsy.

I would have liked to try Petite Treat 12 Days of Tarte Advent Calendar but Ulta doesn’t ship to Canada. 😉 But I’m always a fan of sampler sets.

I’ve been burned with Tarte’s holiday set in the past due to poorly pigmented shadows, but the blush palette looks quite promising. This year I WILL swatch before buying 😛

Monica.

Monica, the Tarte eyeshadows have improved so much! I own last year’s equivalent of “Away Oui Go” and it’s one of my favorites. They are beautiful, buttery, even, natural shadows. Not patchy or powdery! I am so happy that Tarte is upping its game… although my wallet isn’t!

I purchased the 5 blush set last year, and I do use and like it. I think I’m more interested in the Hourglass Ambient Lighting blush palette this year though. I will probably be passing on the Tarte blush set this year. Obviously, this is subject to change with your swatches Christine!

Kind of excited about the blush palette! Although it seems like some of their newer blushes have been hit or miss so I will definitely need to wait for swatches. Hopefully they all perform excellently!

I’d be more interested in the 5 blush palette if I wasn’t already determined to buy the hourglass one posted just recently.

I love the packaging of the second one where you can pick which palette to carry around! I wish it was the sephora exclusive instead!

I missed last year’s blush palette, I am not going to skip this one.
Tarte makes great Holiday sets, I will stalk these out because one of those palettes appears to have many browns and hopefully greens
…I ♡ browns & greens!

Oof. I may be unable to resist the blush palette, even though I have the blush palette from… 2012?… and haven’t made a dent. (Does anyone with fair skin ever make a dent in blushes, though? I think the only way I’d even flatten out the patterns in mine would be to wear the same color five days a week for months on end.)
