For black, a cream finish. Otherwise, a fine shimmery/pearly finish.
My holy grail eyeliner that I use almost every day (UD 24/7 Mushroom) has a pearl finish. But other than that one, I prefer matte.
Matte. I’m pretty boring when it comes to liner.
I have yet to meet a liner in any finish that I did not like…except the duds, of course.
Matte, I just avoid any eyeliner with shimmers or sparkles.
For my black winged liner and upper tightliner: matte.
For lower lashline: I love metallic or pearlized. Also, certain matte shades are huge favorites of mine, like UD Alkaline or Torch
A slight shimmer. I can only wear Almay or Neutrogena, their liners don’t irritate my eyes and I line heavily and often so a liner maybe lasts me 3 weeks…cost wise I’m happy !
Yes.. Urban Decay slay’s the eyeliner game! I love their formula – yes.. metallic and pearly are great.. but I am all about a glittery eyeliner! marc jacobs had some great glittery gel ones..
As a quite rare eyeliner user, I would have to say metallic and shimmery, creamy pearly shades are the ones I favour the best.
MATTE only…
It depends on the eyeshadows used, but generally a matte finish. I also like pearly finishes but rarely use very shimmery or glittery ones, though it does happen.
