Please keep discussion on-topic, and if you have general feedback, a product review request, an off-topic question, or need technical support, please contact us!

Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. Comments alerting us to typos or small errors in the post are appreciated (!) but will typically be removed after errors are fixed (unless a response is needed).

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

My go to is a two step with MAC Satin Taupe, with that in the crease and lower outer lash line, and either MAC All That Glitters or UD Sin on the inner corner and inner lower lash line. Easy and classic!!

Sadly, and I say that because I have way too much eyeshadow to not be using them, lately it’s been bare lids far too often. Between the lockdown almost two years ago, moving to a place across town where getting to someplace interesting or fun is quite the ordeal, and now, poor health, I just haven’t been doing nearly as many eye looks.

If I’m not wanting to plan out a look beforehand, I use the Sydney Grace Coffee Talk palette, with Ristretto on the lid and a gradation of three of the taupe mattes–probably Frappe, Macchiato, and Espresso. Or Natasha Denona Bronze with Silk, Beach Ridge, and Deep Dive.

My current go to eyeshadow look is a fairly neutral one with a pop of colour. A light shimmery number on the lid (UD Sin, Lorac’s Primrose), with layers of soft gold, soft browns (UD Toasted, Smog or Half Baked, Lorac’s Rendevous, Stardust) on the lower lid. Sometimes I will have a darker brown shade next to the lashline, or the pop of colour – which could either be Lapis Luxury, Flying High or an olive green shade – either Spectacular from BM or one of the olive shades from CT’s The Rebel 2020.

Suqqu new blush 04 in the crease + Dior 580 liquid eyeshadow on the lid + mascara. Amazing result. You must have to try the new Suqqu blushes. They’re the best on the market, an A+++
