What’s one product you often forget to use?

Concealer! Unless I have acne that I want to conceal, I very, very often forget to use it. I’ve made a concerted effort to use concealer more often, and I’ve been better about it!

primer! strangely enough, it often makes me more oily than less. and that is using highly rated ones like hourglass and tatcha. since it doesnt improve wear… why bother? ? i use it now and then just to use up the expensive items.

The Hourglass one didn’t work for me either – my makeup pretty much slid right off my face in about 4 hours! So bizarre.

The FAB Coconut Skin Smoothie works a treat though – I’m not sure what ingredient/s are in some primers and not in others but yeah, some work for me and some are just a darn hot mess.

Lip liner. Every few years or so, I buy Wet n Wild lip liner in #666 (brandy wine) after reading an article about why I should use lip liner, use it for a little while, forget about it, tell myself to continue using it, misplace it, and then repeat the process.

The one thing that I forget to use on a regular basis is my eyelash curler. I always remember it after I put on my mascara, and then it’s too late. I’d say I remember to use it about 5% of the time. Other than that, I’m very consistent with my makeup.

Because I have long black eyelashes, I occasionally forget mascara. There are other products that I occasionally skip or only use sporadically (eyelash curler, concealer, lipliner, etc.), but that’s a choice; not forgetfulness. The mascara is definitely forgetfulness! ?

It’s not so much as I “forget”, but I often just can’t be bothered with concealer, especially if I’m using a fuller-coverage foundation… I keep several in a bin right on my makeup desk, and look right at them, but unless I’m using one as an eyeshadow base/primer, I just skip over it… I’ve also discovered I prefer concealer over eyeshadow primer, as I find the latter to be too drying, but since I’m trying to use up my primers, I’ve reached for them more…

Well yesterday I forgot to apply my face primer! But that turned out to be a “happy” accident. The mix the 2 MAC Studio Fix foundation shades (C3.5 & C4.5) with a smidgen of Strobe Cream actually applied NICER without it. But for me, it’s been a different thing on a different day type of deal. Sometimes I forget my undereye concealer, or to set it, or to apply my finishing powder if I’m in a major hurry.

Brow pencil. I forget about it since I’ve only started using it within the past year and my brows are already pretty full without it, so I don’t really feel like I’m forgetting something at quick glance. I do like how it makes my brows look more symmetrical though, so I’ll have to put it on my desk or something to remember it.

Debbie, have you tried different brands. I use to use just any old generic eye lash curler, you know, Maybelline or Cover Girl, some such. Then I started using the Shu Uemura one and loved it although it pinched the inside of one of my eyes. I thought it was great though until I watched a Lisa Eldridge video and she talked about the shape of the eye and how certain curlers work better dependent on eye shape. She recommended the Suqqu one for people with my eye shape so I picked it up and it has made all the difference in the world. Very, very rarely will I catch any tissue with it and it give me a great curl. Just a suggestion in case you really want your lashed curled and haven’t hit on the right curler. Just try a few different ones.

That’s funny or I’m the minority because I’ve tried to love the Shu Uemura lash curler but never could. I swear those things come loose or something weird happens to them. I have small eyes with sparse blonde lashes that want to point downwards so all full size lash curlers have been a love / hate relationship for me too. I’ve been avoiding them.

I FINALLY found a tiny lash curler I love from Reveal Beauty. I believe they’re a US vet owned company so I went with 2 from them over MAC or Amazon.

Highlighter. I use Becca Backlight Priming Filter along cheekbones as super subtle highlighter. I like to use it daily, but that requires me to actually remember to reach for it daily.

I don’t have a daily routine for my makeup, so there are a lot of products I choose not to use at a particular time for different reasons, but sometimes when I do intend to do my brows, or brighten my waterline, or use eyeshadow primer I forget until after I’ve left home.

I forget to use under eye corrector, liquid highlighter, and my eyelash curler. Not a huge deal, I know I don’t need all of that every day and my routine takes long enough as it is.

Undereye concealer. I would benefit somewhat from it; I don’t have dark circles, but the area under my eyes is a little darker, and lightening that up a bit would make me look like I got another hour of sleep. I think the problem is my lighted mirror — it’s so bright that it washes out that area and makes everything seem brighter and less in need of … brightening.

I forget to put liner and/or shadow on my lower lashline; and other times I forget to put on mascara. This is likely because I wait to do these steps after I spray setting spray since some setting sprays make mascara run.

I’ve definitely gone into work and had my boss complaining about her day, and I’ve said to her, “you think YOU’RE having a bad day? I forgot to put on mascara.” She doesn’t get it. She’s not into makeup.

Well, they aren’t a necessity, but I rarely use (not necessarily forget) an eyelid primer. I tend to forget using a serum, and the only thing I can think of that I forget to do is put powder under my eyes for fallout (or in stead not do my face before my eyes, which just seems weird to me, though I know it’s probably the best thing to do with the types of eyeshadows I use).
