What part of your skincare routine brings you the most joy?

It’s a toss up between removing makeup–satisfying to see it all come off, and there’s a sense of “ahh, clean!” afterward–and physical exfoliation for ultra-soft and smooth skin!

I enjoy the whole process whether the AM or PM routine, doesn’t matter to me. In the morning, it’s pretty simple but satisfying to apply a hydrating nutrient mist, followed by massaging in vitamin C mixed with antioxidant facial oil. After this my skin glows. In the evening, after removing makeup I love using my Foreo Luna 3 for Sensitive skin with my second cleanser. Applying serums and moisturizers for the night with a mini facial massage is relaxing to me. I prefer doing my skincare routine that applying makeup, that takes more skill and I’m not as fussed about it.

The results. Skincare really is necessary, and finding the right products for my menopausal skin has done wonders, especially adding a Vitamin C serum that doesn’t bother me (Volition Beauty Strawberry-C Serum). Removing a mask and feeling that super-soft skin is pleasant, too, but I’m still pretty bad about remembering to mask.

I love putting on my Herbivore oils. Especially the Orchid one. I also like FAB Hemp oils. I keep some stashed by my desk as I work from home now and use throughout the day. I have also been mixing them with some of my full coverage foundation that I rarely use (3 part oil, 1 part foundation) for a tint effect during the day.

My skin has never looked this good over the past five years. I think it has helped I’m not exposed to the elements of downtown and the dry environment of the office where I work.

I came to say the same thing, LOL! I’m new to the chemical exfoliation game, but I absolutely love it. So far, I’ve only tried The Body Shop’s “Drops of Youth”, but I think I’m ready for something a bit stronger. Do you have any favorites?

My beauty routine is very essential an what I enjoy most is the moisturizing cream on clean skin before go to bed… In particular if the cream has a faint, pleasant smell (ehe I do not care at all about packaging neither for makeup, nor to skincare, but when It cames to smell…)

My entire skincare routine sparks me joy, I especially enjoy my night time routine, winding down.
The most joy I get from applying serums and oils, not only due to the texture (which is usually luxurious), but also from the act of massaging my skin and seeing it become softer.

Hands down, the mini exfoliation that I do daily. I use Tatcha The Rice Polish. I love the fine powder, it mixes easily with water and I love the scent. It doesn’t have micro beads or any other granular properties so I don’t have to worry about my septic reacting poorly. I also like adding my facial oils. Most days now, I use the Guerlain Abielle Royalle Youth Watery Oil. It seals in my moisturizer and keeps my skin feeling moisturized all day.

Moisturizer! I have vague memories of my grandmother using a night cream, and it seemed very luxurious. Also, I have used those evian bottles, and man… They are refreshing as an in-between step in my skincare. I’m thinking maybe a continuous spray bottle may be able to replace it, so I don’t have to buy disposable spray bottles.

Hmmm this is tough. I do enjoy the “wash the day away” feel of cleansing but also like a jade roller session. Applying oils also feels great especially in the winter. But i do also like the feeling when i use manual exfoliating product and how soft my skin feels after !!

I love taking care of my skin, it has to last me a lifetime! From taking off the day to the last step of smoothing on a hydrating oil is extremely satisfying and I always take the time to do my morning and evening routine. It’s just like beauty sleep – you need it!

My face and skin are misbehaving badly. I have an itchy rash on half my forehead and half my chin on the same side. I’m having transient itchiness pretty much every where.
My skin care is limited to CeraVe facial cleanser, OTC steroid cream in small amounts once a day and FAB moisturizer. No makeup. Nothing new. Ugh!
This will resolve. I am lucky to be well.

I use the Erno Laszlo Sea Mud Cleansing Bar for over a year now as the last step of my cleansing routine and I enjoy it every single time, when it creates that silky soft leather, I even love the weird smell of it. I think this is the best part of my skincare routine.
