Viseart Neutral Mattes, hands down. Even if I’m using another eyeshadow palette, I’m using this one for things like lid prep, transition shade, crease deepening, liner, bronzer, etc.

In second place is Urban Decay Born to Run. It’s just so easy to pull a look together.

Pat McGrath Bronze Seduction and I’ve been reaching for my Tom Ford Nude Dip quad. I’ve been trying to spread the love because I have so many palettes, so I’ve been reaching for my Melt Cosmetics She’s in Parties and Marc Jacobs Cherrific palette too.

ND Safari – My favorite matte palette ever and can go with pretty much all of my other palettes. I love the range of colors and how beautifully blendable it is.
ND Star (original formula) – The palette I go to when I’m looking for something elegant, elevated and neutral. It is such an easy natural palette for me.
PMGL Celestial Divinity – Super new to me, but I’ve used it a tone. The tones are so perfect and I even love the three mattes that were included. It anchors everything in a berry tone, but I think it suits the rest of the shades beautifully. I’ve even used Venusian Orchid as a blush a couple of times.

I have yet to explore outside the drug store/low end world when it comes to eyeshadow palettes. So nothing here exceeds $15: 1) NYX Ultimate Cool Neutrals – I use at least one shade every day; 2) Colourpop In a Trance (modified to replace the pinks and pressed glitter with a few green shades from the Mint to Be Palette); and 3) Juvia’s Place Taupes mini-palette

I have literally no idea whatsoever!
If I were to try to guess; PML Divine Rose II, CCosmetics dupe for ABH Sultry and MAC Natural Vice? I really just don’t know, really.
And now that I’ve been gifted ND Glam Palette midi by a fellow Maine Coon Cat owner whose kitty is also dying from feline squamous cell oral cancer, plus my Rouge sale purchase of CT Bejeweled, I can easily see both taking the lead at this point!

I tend to switch it up with all my colorful palettes, but I have favorite neutral palettes for easy looks or from which to pull shades not in my palette of the day.

For this past year, probably Huda Beauty The New Nudes, UD Born to Run, and ABH Modern Renaissance. Honorable mentions to the UD Electric and BH Cosmetics Carli Bybel Deluxe Palettes.

Of all time, probably ABH Modern Renaissance, UD Electric, and UD Naked Basics. Honorable mention to Too Faced Chocolate Bar.

Good question. I rotate a lot, but I guess PMG
MTHRSHP Subliminal Platinum Bronze, ND Safari and Lime Crime Venus XL II get the most love. With those three, I just don’t have to think a lot when I create a look.
Do you also have lazy days go tos?

Uhhhhhh, I have a million and rotate like a mofo but overall, I would say Colourpop Double Entendre, ABH Modern Renaissance and Dior Crush Glow.

Special mention to Pat McGrath Divine Rose & Morphe 35XO Natural Flirt which have been getting quite the workout lately… And Celestial Divinity is about to land on my desk annnnnnny minute now, so (rubs hands gleefully)

I am still using my Tom Ford Orchid Haze quad. It’s my favorite eye palette of all time and I don’t know what will replace it when I’ve finally used it up. I also use the chanel naturelles quad (from last summer) quite a bit and their elemental quad. But I’ve mostly been doing single eyeshadow looks during Covid.

I don’t know that I necessarily use these the most, but my “desert island” palettes would be:

ND Lila
PMG Divine Rose
Clinique Black Honey

I love eye shadow.. I use my PMG Divine Rose II and Bronze temptation a lot! I also use my ND Biba and Gold palette. If I am not using those.. honestly I still love my Dose of Colors Friendcation (Desi/Kati) Palette.. that one is so awesome 🙂

Can I just say how much I have enjoyed reading the replies to this question (and also, how reassuring it is to me to know that others have a hard time sticking to just 3 choices and have to “categorize”?) It’s very nice reading others’ choices and also seeing so many of the palettes I have and enjoy and it’s a good reminder to USE some of the palettes that are no longer in my personal “spotlight”.

Oh this is a tough one because I make an effort to rotate if not in formula’s… at least in color themes. I do tend to use my Pat Mcgrath palettes on the daily since a while…

Viseart neutral matte is a no brainer, I used it for almost every makeup look
Pat Mcgrath mothership V bronze seduction… the first one from the brand so it has also the most signs of use.
ND Gold palette, this palette has it all for my skintone and shimmer preferences (versatile in term of look intensity, lots of shine and fine glitters)

Special mention to Paris nudes that I set aside since a while but which I have almost panned a few shades in.

Viseart neutral mattes – nearly every day
Viseart Paris small palette – for when I want a cooler neutral tone look (caveat – I have replaced some of the repeats from the large Paris palette, which I also own, with cooler tones from the Viseart dark small palette)
3. Toss up – I just finally purchased a variety of ND palettes and am currently trying to figure out which colors “work” for me. I have already noticed quite a bit of inconsistency in the ease of application/staying power in the ND shadows that I don’t have as much of with the Viseart shadows.

1) MAYBELLINE – Nudes of New York (an AMAZING drugstore pallett)
2) CHANEL – Tisse Mademoiselle (214)
3) GUERLAIN – Ecrin 4 couleurs – Les Fauves

• PMG MTHRSHP Subliminal Platinum Bronze
• PMG Midnight Sun
• Chanel les beiges the 9-pan — I don’t use it as much as I’d like because it’s LE with tiny pans

These are outstanding palettes that give me effortless stunning looks with minimal effort.

Historically, I’ve hit pan repeatedly on the now DCd Too Faced Boudoir Eyes (rebought 4x) and also ND Star (rebought once and a backup on top).
