I suppose some of this will be more mid-range, but:
Urban Decay’s Ex-Girlfriend lipstick, my everyday shade. I would love to own Rebel as well, but I’m so broke right now ?
Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics’ Lip Tars for the endless possibilities!
MAC’s Lipglasses. I have a handful of LE shades that are so unique and add beautiful dimension to the lips. I’m a sucker for MAC’s sparkly and shimmery glosses.
Kat Von D’s Studded Kiss in Poe…RIP

Ex Girlfriend is my everyday shade as well! I’ve worn it down to a nub. If you like that one, you may also like Sydney full-on lipstick by Buxom.

Hands down Pat McGrath’s matte lipsticks. Literally the best mattes I have ever owned, and the most comfortable. Definitely high end, but worth every cent.

Laneige Lip Mask, all of the NARS pencil lipstick lines (I really wish they would expand the color selection of the Satin line!), and specifically, my HG MLBB, Urban Decay Sheer Rapture.

None; I have yet to find any HE lip product(s) that are worth the extra money. In fact, there are DS products I feel are actually superior to HE products…

Bite Beauty Agave Mask;
Chanel Rouge Coco Shine (especially Desinvolte, a favorite for spring/summer);
Urban Decay Vice lipsticks (especially Lovelight; but also I always start with Vice lipsticks if I’m in search of something new);
Nars lipgloss (Risky Business is a great color on me).
I also really like the Hourglass Lip Stylos but am a bit off them due to relative cost; may change my mind later.

Urban Decay comfort matte, cream, and sheer Vice lipsticks, Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche lipsticks, KVD Studded Kiss lipsticks (haven’t tried the new formula yet, fingers crossed!), Kylie lip pencils, Melt lip pencils, Fenty Gloss Bomb, Too Faced peach oil lip glosses, and Glossier Balm Dot Com.

Cle de peau lipstick (very Hydrating and doesn’t emphasize dryness)
Bare minerals moxie lipgloss in smooth talker (pink with golden shimmer) I think it’s discontinued?

I use Nuxe Reve de Miel Lip balm and it is kind of in the middle of the expense spectrum but it is my HG balm because I wear a CPAP mask at night and the Nuxe is the only balm that lasts through the night. I can get up in the morning and there is still a nice layer of balm on my lips. It is the only balm that I use. As far as other lip products I have a new HG formula and that is the Pat McGrath Labs lipsticks. I like both formulas the Matte and the Luxe Trance. I love the Guerlain Rouge G, Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche and YSL formulas and as for colors or specific shades they are all berries, plums and reds!!

Nuxe Reve de Miel Lip Balm (I have tried the Clarins lip balm recommended by Christine and liked it but it’s hard for me to find), Nars Audacious (surprised to not see more love here?!), Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy. Wanted to love Pat McGrath LuxeTrance – hugely disappointing.

I have older lips with lots of texture and lip lines which the Nars Audacious formula does not flatter. It somehow manages to give me more lines than I actually have and to travel outsides the margins of my lips. The stain left behind is not an attractive color no matter the shade applied so not my favorite formula. Sorry the PML formula didn’t work for you. I like both formulas but we are all different and have different preferences so it is great that there are so many options available to us.

Adore Audacious! And the VLGs. Over the decades, Nars lips and cheeks come out on top, in the stash #s. Have yet to indulge in a Pat, but formulas can be very iffy. Somewhat surprised there haven’t been more detractors. Like bite; have fallen off the French train. Liked revolution better than vice. Besame never disappoints, in a lip. Enjoy Lipstick Queen, as have been a fan since her eponymous line, but not every product from Poppy currently. Sorry you have to endure sleep apnea, Deborah. As to balms, chem sunscreens rule many out, including Jack Black. Not a big fan of bite agave. Recently found an old Paula lip and body to balm; better than I remember, but do not consider it HE.

Oh, kjh, I forgot about the Lipstick Queen formula and Elizabeth Arden. I have 4 or 5 Lipstick Queen bullets and they were my priciest lipstick until PML came along. I do like the formula and they wear a long time on me also.

Strange is a beautiful shade, Nancy, and I can see it looking beautiful on you. I want to pick up a couple more from the new release. I am working hard to resist the new palette. I was watching Tarababyz video yesterday where she reviewed and showed the shadows in action and they look glorious but $125.00, WOW too much for my budget. The shades appear pretty dupable but the pigmentation is off the charts. I just have to resist!!

Tom Ford Matte Lipstick in Pussycat
Sara Happ The Lip Slip
Giorgio Armani Lip Maestros
Mac Matte Lipsticks in Mehr, Velvet Teddy & Have Your Cake (please MAC — bring it back!)

Nancy T Avatar

MAC Prep & Prime Lips, Pat McGrath Luxetrance and Mattrance Lipsticks, Tom Ford Seadragon Lipstick (gosh, I wish that shade was permanent!), MAC and UD Lipsticks, MAC Lipglasses, Fenty Gloss Bomb and the Holiday lip gloss, too. And considering that one can buy Chapstick for like $2, then I would have to say Jack Black Lip Balm because $7 is a little much for a basic balm, but I love it so much!

Genevieve Avatar

Clarins Lip Balm – it is so, so good.
And whilst I buy the Elizabeth Arden Ceramide lipsticks, which retail here at about $50, I get them much much cheaper than that through an online beauty retailer (buyinvite).
Same for Clarins Joli Rouge lipsticks.
Other than that, I don’t spend my beauty dollars on lip products.

The bulk of my lipstick collection consists of NARS Audacious, MAC, and Bite Beauty. I have a decent collection of other high end lipsticks from Chanel, Guerlain Rouge G, Givenchy Le Rouge, Estee Lauder Pure Envy, Lancôme Absolue Rouge, and Tom Ford Lips and Boys. I must have the Fresh lip balms everywhere (on my dresser, in my purse, in the bathroom, by my desk, by the tv) and I keep MAC Prep and Prime lip by my vanity and in my purse. For lip liners I have a large collection of Lancôme, Estee Lauder, MAC, and Buxom, among many others. My favorite glosses come from MAC, Lancôme (Juicy tubes), Fenty, HudaBeauty, and those large holiday sets of Buxom glosses. I also love my Jouer lip toppers!

I had to have a Christian Laboutin lipstick just to see what all the buzz was about . I bought the Laboutin red in the beautiful black package and I really don’t need to buy another red lipstick. It is simply perfect. That being said I consider myself a lipstick junky and will purchase lipstick once a week if I’m out. I just saw a block on Tom Ford lipstick and I’m convinced I must have one. Probably the most used lipsticks I have are hourglass Girl in legend, and Charlotte Tilbury Pilliow Talk. I also have the matching pencil as well as the color Walk of Shame. I own probably 20 each Chanel and MAC lipsticks which a also dearly love. I read that someone uses the hourglass lip oil – I have that and live it too but have been using Laneige nighttime lip mask for the past week. I could go on but I’ll stop here. I’ve almost talked myself into a quick run to Walgreens for some dupes.

Thank you again Christine for making me discover the Clarins lip balm ! I have scrabs on my lips in the winter time and not only it calms the pain but it really helps the healing process.

Also, Bobbi Brown High Shimmer lip gloss in Naked plum and Black Ruby, Burberry lip velvet in Dark Rosewood, Anastasia Lip gloss in Warm bronze

Bite Beauty Agave lip mask is the #1! I use it every single night, without fail, and a tube lasts more than a year for me. MAC lipsticks (especially the matte formula), Stila Stay All Day liquid lipsticks, Kat Von D liquid lipsticks, MAC lip pencils (I prefer a stiffer formula to get a subtler effect, I also don’t wear lip liner as an all-over lip color), NARS Audacious lipsticks, and the Dior Addict Lip Tattoo.
