Wet 'n' Wild Botanic Dream MegaGlo Highlighting Powder Review, Photos, Swatches
Botanic Dream
Wet ‘n’ Wild Botanic Dream MegaGlo Highlighting Powder ($4.99 for 0.19 oz.) is a medium, rosy pink with stronger, warm undertones and a frosted sheen. The finish was more metallic as I diffused and blended out the powder on the skin, but it did not seem to accentuate the look of my skin’s natural texture.
The formula is supposed to be “highly pigmented” with a “silky smooth” texture that is “easy-to-blend.” The highlighter was soft, smooth, and blendable on the skin without being too powdery nor too firmly pressed in the pan, which made it easy to use as well as to control the amount of product picked up on a brush. It was nicely pigmented with nearly opaque coverage in a single layer. This shade lasted for eight hours on me before fading slightly.

Formula Overview
$4.99/0.19 oz. - $26.26 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to be “highly pigmented” with a “silky smooth” texture that is “easy-to-blend.” The shades ranged from semi-opaque to opaque typically with smooth, denser textures that weren't stiff or difficult to work with. A couple of shades seemed a touch drier in the pan but did not appear dry on my skin usually. They blended out nicely and lasted around eight hours on average.

I thought this was going to be a lot more pale and pastel. It’s way prettier than I expected! I just knew this would be a skip for me. But now I’m kinda curious lol. It looks gorgeous on you!
Thank you, Fancie!
First thought: “Pretty In Pink”! ? This is a BEAUTY. Especially at this price point. Don’t need, but I am going to buy this stunner!
Enjoy, Nancy 😀
More of a blush shade for me, but glad to see such a good grade. 😉
I could see it being a blusher on very fair skin tones!
This one might read more blush like on me.
I could see that!
Not for me, just don’t love that frosted white sheen.
Aww, darn!!
I’m so glad to see that Tom Ford one on the dupe list – it’s been on my wishlist so it’s good to know there’s an inexpensive alternative from the drugstore!
Woohoo! 🙂
Oooh, this was the one I was most interested in! Thanks for the swatches and review, will grab if I like this better than the dupes listed
My pleasure, Katherine!
If anyone has this (and the purple one) and the LE versions from last spring (with the hearts) could you please let us know if they are dupes? TY
