Wet 'n' Wild Blossom Glow MegaGlo Highlighting Powder Review, Photos, Swatches

Blossom Glow
Wet ‘n’ Wild Blossom Glow MegaGlo Highlighting Powder ($4.99 for 0.19 oz.) is a very pale, whitish pink with warmer undertones and a metallic sheen. It almost read beige on my skin tone at times, and I thought it might have had a duochrome shift but not so much.
The formula is supposed to be “highly pigmented” with a “silky smooth” texture that is “easy-to-blend.” It had a smoother consistency that wasn’t quite silky but never felt rough or too loose in the pan. I felt like it looked smoother on the skin than it felt in the pan, and I had no trouble blending or diffusing the highlighter on my cheek bones. It had semi-opaque, buildable pigmentation but was forgiving enough, as the texture was moderately dense, to simply use less to achieve a sheerer effect if desired. On me, the highlighter wore well for eight hours.

Formula Overview
$4.99/0.19 oz. - $26.26 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to be “highly pigmented” with a “silky smooth” texture that is “easy-to-blend.” The shades ranged from semi-opaque to opaque typically with smooth, denser textures that weren't stiff or difficult to work with. A couple of shades seemed a touch drier in the pan but did not appear dry on my skin usually. They blended out nicely and lasted around eight hours on average.

I love this one! x
Yay!
Not my highlight shade, but I appreciate how well these Wet nWild highlighters are doing! I hope they release more shades in the future to this line.
They are great, budget-friendly shades!
This is REALLY pretty and you cannot beat the price. I hope I’m able to find it at WalMart here – that’s the only place that has a half decent sized display of WnW (though the display itself is in such disarray and so poorly maintained).
Fingers crossed that you can find it!
They are all available from the website, except the purple one last time i checked two weeks ago.
When I was first getting into makeup 15 years ago, Wet N Wild was a brand I typically avoided because its quality reflected on its price, I think. But now I’m so impressed by how far this brand has come! I do love their eyeshadow singles and I badly want to try their highlighters. And at their price, I can get a few and not feel guilty. 🙂 You wear that shade amazingly! Such a beautiful glow!
They have some great products out now 🙂
I just order all the shade of these MegaGlo Highlighting Powder. We shall see when they actually ship/arrive. But this look promising. 😉
Yay!! So glad you could order them.
They ship to just Canada and the US now. They ship with FedEX so I’ll have customs to pay, but it was labelled today. 😉
Loving that this has an icy and light sheen, but no white base for a welcome change! Something even I could wear and not look as if I had chalky stuff on my cheeks. ?
It’s a lovely shade on!
This color is too white for me, but curious about the purple and the rose gold one
Swatches are in the gallery!
I quite like this one!
Awesome!
Oh! I want them so bad but have all of the previous ones the big three Fergie sise ones I love the pink one I’ll have an orgasm, Sangria Castle I like too and Boozy Brunch, then Precious Petals is beautiful so is Queen of my Canopy and last I got the rainbow colored one and the other two in pink and purple with a heart heart from the unicorn set I believe. Also found two at Ross very light pink from a name called Gotta B’ Urban which turned out great. And one from City Color. Lol! Do I need one more? 🙁
Someone has a nice stash of shades!
?
This is such a stunning highlighter – I mean I don’t need anything that you can see for miles so this is right up my alley!
Happy to hear it!
This is too light for me, but quite pretty! I’ve been so impressed with Wet n’ Wild’s products lately, especially their highlighters and blushes. They’ve really gone up in quality over the last few years without also wildly increasing prices.
This one is pretty over more intense blush/bronzer, too, to lighten/brighten but not turn to ash!
A very pretty shade for pale complexions. It’s good to see a DS brand get it right.
It’s sooo nice to see great, budget-friendly highlighters!
