Please keep discussion on-topic, and if you have general feedback, a product review request, an off-topic question, or need technical support, please contact us!

Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. Comments alerting us to typos or small errors in the post are appreciated (!) but will typically be removed after errors are fixed (unless a response is needed).

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

My FAV hands down is No Shade by D.O.C. It really is the PERFECT nude for my skintone, which I haven’t been able to find in all of my 31 years. The gloss/topper is breathtaking as well!!

Skin tone: Very fair with cool undertones, MAC NW5-10
Favorite look worn: I used the Marc Jacobs Frivoluxe and Provocouture palettes. I used the bright pink from Provocouture in the crease and up onto the brow bone and the purple from the Frivoluxe palette over the mobile lid and together they to created a violet in the crease. I used MAC Extra Dimension Skin Finish blush in Rosy Cheeks and for lipstick I used Clinique’s Lip Pop in Fiesta. So far I am loving the Marc Jacobs palettes and plan to purchase a couple more.

Most used product: YSL Touche Eclat Cushion Foundation in B10. I like the finish and the color is lite enough but the undertone is wrong. It is pretty neutral and I am pretty cool toned so leaves a greyish cast.

New discoveries: Nothing really. I just purchased several skin care products from Peter Thomas Roth and am still testing them. I did pick up two products that are suppose to tighten the eye area and the other is for face and neck. I like the effect but they are hard to use as they must be applied onto clean, bare skin and then you wait about 3-5 minutes without moving and then you can proceed with makeup. I haven’t been able to find a way to use the products because I need to apply liquid products like moisturizer, foundation, etc. and that just eliminates the effect. Interesting products as I can see my under eye wrinkles flatten out and has helped a lot with laugh lines and around my mouth but the effect doesn’t last after other products are applied. If any one else has used these products and found a way to make them work, I would love to know how.

My skin tone/coloring: Very fair with neutral undertones; magenta/red hair; hazel/green eyes.

Favorite look you worn: Smokey burnt orange eye using the ABH Modern Renaissance Palette with Jouer Midnight Swim patted over the middle of the lids; Notoriously Morbid Mystic Matte in Never Sleep Again; coral blush (don’t remember which one).

Most used product of the week: Jouer Skinny Dip Palette, Ardency Inn Royal, MAC Blush in Spring Flock

Any new beauty discoveries: Medusa’s Make-up Metal AF Lipgloss in Cherry Pie (rec’d in sub box). It’s actually a liquid lipstick, and I really love the formula. Very lightweight, dries down completely, and isn’t drying on me.

I’m fair to medium with blue eyes and auburn hair .

For some reason I was in a red lipstick mood all week ( MAC Russian Red) with a neutral eye . I also continue to have a lot of fun playing with the Anastasia Aurora glow kit .

No new discoveries but enjoyed playing with my what I already have open .

My skin tone/colouring: Porcelain, with pink undertones

Favorite look you worn: Dragged out my Guerlain Les Gris palette this week and did a very pretty look using 3 of the 4 shades (Deep blue on lid, matte grey in crease and ivory shade in the corner) and paired it with my new EA lipstick in Bronze beauty.

Most used product of the week: Natio Dose of Colours: Golden – a very nice mix of neutrals.

Any new beauty discoveries: The Amie range of skincare products. I received the exfoliating gentle scrub in a Priceline beauty bag and it is a brand I had never used before. The scrub left my skin really soft and hydrated. It is a cruelty free brand, from the UK and I am keen to explore their other products.

~nw20. I MUST HAVE THOSE NARS LIPS, above. Look, well, didn’t wear much this week, just loaded up the skincare, spot masks, ordinary aha/bha weekly, etc. But did a look tonight. CP up and up inner, team captain crease and outer, blended up, with some old Clinique bonus shadow in barely shimmery very light beige to the browbone. UD apathy and Sephora good mood to the lower waterline and light good mood upper lash line. Old EL Fern mascara (midtone green) to uppers and heroine make to the lowers. Used the sample of ROTS lt-med cooler foundation. Best/’funnest’ part. Did not mention that I got Black Lace Rabbit, both the blush and the lipstick. I think they are both shades that change with skin chemistry, like frog prince, etc. They are both instant faves, esp the lipstick. It looks sheer light black at first. It transforms on me to a sheer, slightly gray lightish purple. Suspect it is different on everyone. The blush turned a cool plum, very natural. More like a solid gel than a cream. Did not move the light app foundation. My skin can eat/disappear the most intense cream blush, but not this one. Used fingers, but I suspect synthetic brushes would be ok. Both the lipstick and the blush (less so on me) have slight colored shimmer particles. Nothing OTT. Believe that either could be used as a topper, might darken slightly and would cool down the color. I waffled on these for quite a while, but think they’re fab. The l/s is very emollient, but no feathering, and a slight stain. The other three LQ adapting lipsticks aren’t for me. I would suspect Hello Sailor gives a similar effect on some people. These are the only unusual products I’ve scored in a long time….and they both work.
