I'm Addicted
Hourglass I’m Addicted Confession Lipstick ($34.00 for 0.03 oz.) is a soft, medium brown with warm, rosy undertones and a satin finish. The color payoff was nearly opaque, and the lipstick applied the coverage evenly and smoothly. The texture was lightweight, creamy without being heavy or too emollient, and was easy to apply. It lasted for four and a half hours on me and was lightly moisturizing over time.
The formula is supposed to have “creamy, saturated, longwearing color with a satin finish.” It’s a light-medium thick formula that was typically opaque with a lightly creamy texture that glided on without tugging but did not slide around while worn. The majority of shades had a natural to satin finish, and they lasted anywhere from four to seven hours with light hydration. The best performing shades were light to dark while the lightest and deepest shades weren’t quite as consistent.
The lipstick can be purchased with the full packaging/applicator for $34 or as a refill-only for $22. The refill packaging is substantial enough that it is usable on its own, as there’s a detachable base that the refillable cap clicks onto (with an audible click), but they are very slim–and that’s not a surprise given they only contain 0.03 oz. making them one of the smaller lipsticks on the market. Slim lipsticks typically contain around 0.07 oz. of product and are usually smaller than the average standard lipstick tube (which tends to be between 0.10 and 0.12 oz.).

No One Knows
Hourglass No One Knows Confession Lipstick ($34.00 for 0.03 oz.) is a peachy coral with warm, orange undertones and a cream finish. It had good color payoff–nearly opaque–that applied evenly for the most part. The texture was lightweight with moderate slip, and as a result, there was a bit of color that gathered in my lip lines and very subtle streaking along the edges of my lips. It wore well for four and a half hours but was lightly hydrating over time.

I've Kissed
Hourglass I’ve Kissed Confession Lipstick ($34.00 for 0.03 oz.) is a soft, medium pink with subtle, warm undertones and a cream finish. It had excellent pigmentation that applied evenly and smoothly across the lips without tugging or dragging. The lipstick was lightweight, creamy without being slippery, and easy to wear. On me, it lasted for four and a half hours and was slightly moisturizing.

I like the color of addicted, going to look at the dupes of course. I’m sad that these are actually very expensive since they are good lipsticks. I would’ve loved to have bought at least one if there was more product for the price.
I know, right?? I was so frustrated when I tested and found it to be a good formula but knew the price/quantity was just so bad.
None of these colors are for me, so the price is a moot point.
I love Hourglass, and have been heard to say that “I don’t mind paying more for cruelty-free!” but this seems to be flirting with “excessive.”
Of these three, “I’ve Kissed” really looks like the only one I *might* be able to wear; the other two are just too peachy/orange for me.
They look like beautiful products, though, and I can imagine them looking wonderful on someone with warmer coloring than mine.
Since they’re on the pricey side, and not “slam-dunk” shades for me, I guess I’ll pass.
I LOVE Hourglass, however.
Easy skip, at least!
I love all 3 of these shades. 🙂
Woohoo! 🙂
Uh oh, I’m quite liking the looks of I’m Addicted, have been looking for such a color for a while, and none of the dupes are as appealing. Will need to wait for 20% off sale, cash back and maybe a $20 Sephora coupon
There ya go 🙂 That’s the way to do it!
Katherine, thank you for reminding me about all the Sephora specials coming our way in November/December! ?
Because, then I will get “I’m Addicted” in the refill. I really don’t want the cigarette holder looking thingy.
I think I’ll do the same
I can’t stop looking at I’m Addicted!
It’s gorgeous!
I think I’m going to go in a corner and have a good cry over all these great names (and very nice formula) being wasted on these overpriced, paltry amounts of product lippys! Really though. “I’m Addicted (to makeup, cats, ice cream)” is the *perfect* shade for moi, plus that name is too good! ?
I hear ya, Nancy! I was really sad over it – the formula is lovely but the quantity is a real miss.
Very useful, everyday lipsticks.
They would be!
Not a huge fan of any of these colors!
I won’t buy, even though some colors are lovely. The price is just too high for such a small quantity. I don’t like to encourage such products with my dollars.
