Don’t really need a white bristle version, though white can make it easier to see how much you picked up. I use the browns all the time, and think this is a good pick. Reminds me of the old tag line for NEC: we make the high end affordable. They are prob really the low end of high end, but are more than adequate for my skill level. It’s a decent set. Idk if the price raised or not. And Beautylish is so terrific with c/s, packing, and delivery. People are not likely to be disappointed.

I would not agree about these not being high quality. The white WG fan brush I have is the softest goat hair, right in line with the Chikuhodo T-Series. The T-Series are made of saikoho goat hair which is one of the highest quality. The price of his brushes individually are also in the same price point of the Chikuhodo.

I always recommend checking out Sweet Temptations Brush Temple. She has reviews and information on all brush brands and the different levels. 😉

Some of my oldest eyeshadow brushes (MAC 239 & 217) are showing their age. I can’t complain; I’ve had them well over 5 years and used them many times. I like having a few days’ worth, so I splurged and added the Wayne Goss set to my rotation.

So unfair, FREE SHIPPING on all sets worldwide and $20 shipping for Greece. Free ship level starts at $150 for Greece unfortunately. Kindly, they have sent me an email: ” Hopefully we can get lower rates soon! “

I want to hear what fellow hooded ppls thoughts are on the sizes and width of these!

I have severely hooded eyes. When I relax my face, you can not see ANY of my lid at all. Only my brow boneish area. So im always looking for good hooded eye brushes!

I love WG’s brushes (I own both the Anniversary set and the original eye set) but I question the usefulness of having so many blending brushes even if they are different sizes. I think this set would be more useful overall if it included a flat shader (I believe the original set had one.)

Wayne did a video recently where he said that he talked to Charlotte Tilbury, and neither one of them included a flat shader brush in their brush collections. He said that he finds them too difficult to work with, especially since you can place lid color with a blending brush.

I thought that was interesting, and it made me curious to try doing my makeup without a flat shader. I would’ve thought it’s a basic necessity, but apparently it’s not.

Anywhoo, I wouldn’t expect him to launch a flat shader brush after saying all that, unfortunately!

Hi Kim

I saw that video too, and I think for a certain eye shape (ie: deeper set eyes, or people with larger lids) that may be more true. Unfortunately, as someone with a very shallow crease and not very big lids, all but the smallest blender brush become redundant for me because the tips of the brushes are just too big to deposit a small area of colour.

WG did include a flat shader in the original Eye Set (#18) and it is still sold separately if you want to check it out. It’s pretty good!

Ooh good to know! I’ve never looked too much into his brushes because they’re a little more money than I want to spend… But maybe I’ll go tempt myself 🙂

Help! Someone talk sense into me! I’m going to buy these but since they will be permanent I know it doesn’t have to be today. But I want them now, even though I’ve misplaced the $20 gift card I got in my lucky bag. And also I went ham on the UD Basquiat collection. I bought all of it except the eyeliners. I wanted the vault but that was impossible to get. So. You see my dilemma. Outrageous amounts of output already this month….and I didn’t even list everything. BUT I have very hooded lids and these would be perfect…….I need strength for delayed gratification. It’s so hard to be responsible! ☚ī¸
