Viseart Eyeshadows (Singles) Swatches
Viseart Eyeshadows are now be available in single form–at least for 50 shades from their pre-made palette offerings! Each shade retails for $12.00 and contains 0.07 oz. of product, and then there’s an empty 12-pan palette available for $15. As you’ll see below, the shade range runs from burgundy to black with a variety of finishes from matte to glittery. In general, Viseart matte eyeshadows tend to perform better in practice than swatched, and I hope to work my way through the range as I can and will note if there are any noticeable differences between the palette version compared to the single.
P.S. — I’ve housed mine in some older, empty Make Up For Ever palettes I had on hand.

So pretty! Love that they have singles now! I hope they come to Sephora so I can pick up one or two without having to pay for shipping. *fingers crossed*
If they don’t, I think Beautylish, which no doubt will have them, has free shipping at 35, IIRC.
Thank you so much for getting the swatches to us so quickly!
When you said “In general, Viseart matte eyeshadows tend to perform in practice than swatched…” – did you mean to comment that they perform better or worse? Was I reading that correctly?
Yes, sorry for my poorly written sentence – they tend to perform better in practice.
Wonderful to see that 3 of my most used shades in the Theory Amethyst Palette can now be replaced once I run out! I do see only a few other shades above that may tempted me at some point, but, not today.
I’m so excited to try some of these out!
I am thrilled that they are releasing individual shadows. I think it is a more economical way for people new to Viseart to determine whether they like the formulas or not. I only have 2 of the larger $80 palettes and quite a few of the smaller palettes. In general, I like the shadows and agree that the ones I have apply better than swatched. This will allow me to pick up a few shades that I love but were in palettes that I wouldn’t use other shades so not worth picking up. In particular I love the three green shades, of course.
I was so looking forward to this post! Thank you for your amazing timing!
Oh my, that’s a stunning photo! Did you arrange those shadows yourself, Christine – or is that a suggestion from Viseart? It’s breathtakingly beautiful – whoever put that together LOVES color…
I just put them together in color order – there are only 50 shades so I didn’t pick the colors to be more or any less colorful (above are 48 shades, the two missing are the two black shades, which just didn’t fit!).
It’s just such a beautiful arrangement of color I can’t stop looking at it! I would buy it in a heartbeat if I didn’t already have a big part of Viseart and if it was already assembled like that! So pretty 😀
Much better to have singles to choose from, then you can pick the ones that you use, what a novel idea!
Now part of me wishes I’d kept my Amethyst palette, because I could have replaced the three crappy mattes with something I liked better. Still, at least I can re-buy Sterling (Amethyst #5) and Pink Quartz (Amethyst #4), which were my favorites from it.
These are gorgeous! Thanks for putting these up Christine. I’ve never tried Viseart shadows before so I’m looking forward to trying a few.
Another brand getting involved in the singles market – this is good news for those who have hit pan on their favourite shades in the palettes. Some really beautiful colours there.
Yes! Real singles without the bulky packaging. I am going to see which ones to get for myself.
It’s nice that they are doing this. And every shade that I felt drawn to– I already own. The one exception has a close dupe from Coy, which I own. Also noticing that there are few shades from either Pro 1 or Cool Mattes.
Can someone explain to me how I’m supposed to use the Eclipse shade? I don’t mean to be snarky. I’m just looking for context.
However works for your preference – no rules 😉
Oh COME ON!
That was my serious answer — it is already listed as an eyeshadow, so of course, it can be used as an eyeshadow so presumably you were looking for uses beyond the standard eyeshadow uses so it’s really whatever you want? however would work for the purpose/effect you were going for!
Not being much of a Viseart fan or owner, can anyone tell me if the singles here fit in both the full size Viseart palettes as well as the Theory-sized ones?
Yes, they’re the same as the full-size palettes and Theory palettes!
Been a while, but found a moment to see the new Viseart singles. I’m definitely not impressed by most of the swatches, so I do hope they perform better than swatched.
How did I miss this post before? Impressed that they decided to release singles — yay Viseart!
