YES! I’m so happy right now! I’m a huge fan of Gwen ever since I was a teenager and I was so sad to pass on her palette, ’cause those colors don’t suit me at all. But a bold lip… now we’re talking!
I wonder what finishes they will be using with these.
There’s 5 cream finishes, 1 bold red matte and 2 sheer finishes.
Okay, I work in marketing (and I’m an avid shopper, natch), so I’m very much in the habit of looking at stuff like this and trying to figure out the inside-baseball stuff…and I really don’t know what happened with this Gwen collaboration. It’s like she always looks flawless because she knows how to work with products that already exist. She might as well have just done an ad campaign for a re-release of Naked 1 (in a non-cardboard palette, or something). This collab reads like products for people who are just starting to get into makeup, but Gwen’s long-term fans are generally older than that. It’s ridiculous that I’m mentally comparing this to Ariana Grande’s little MAC capsule collaboration and feeling that Ariana’s two products did a better job of representing who she is and who her fans are.
I totally agree with you. Why wouldn’t they release the lippies with the palette? My thinking is they had no intention of releases GS lippies until fans continued to comment about how it made no sense not to have a lipstick. To me this was definetly not planned out well.
I legit had my hand in the air reading your comment. The palette of shadows is so bleh.

Didn’t buy the palette (and don’t intend to) but wow, I think the lipsticks look promising. I like the few UD lipsticks I have so hoping the formula is as good.

Woohoo! These look interesting and UD usually does great lippies. I’m glad the relationship is continuing. Maybe they will make a second palette with more variation.
YUUUSSSS!!! Now this is what I am most expecting from her. To me, as a black woman with caramel tones, that eyeshadow palette was not for me. Plus I know for a fact I would only use 3 shades lol. Gwen is known for her red lip. I’m surprised she has worked with MAC yet or did she and I was under a rock at the time..? These lippies though. The one sticking out the most, looks like it’s a duo chrome shade. Wait a minute, hey Temptalia, has anyone created a matte duo chrome lippie yet?

I wonder if there will be any single eyeshadows. I’d love if they released Stark as a single, supposedly one of Gwen’s favorites.
Super excited for these, the colours look nice and if it has the same formula as the revolution lipsticks, sign me up!
I’m so happy there’s a lipstick collection! Definitely going to pick up one or two of these. I still may get the eyeshadow palette too, but I think I’m going to wait and see if it goes on sale at a later date (like the Pulp Fiction palette or Naked on the Run). I like it, but not really enough to pay full price haha.
I like the color selection a lot. It looks like there are enough shades to suit a wider range of skin tones than the eye palette.

While I wasn’t sold on the palette this is AWESOME! I see five shades I know should work for me out of the eight so I’m stoked.

Wasn’t she known for wearing Gash lipstick for ages, or am I misremembering? Maybe they’ll to a special release of Gash that is actually GASH, because my old lipstick (from back when No Doubt was first popular) is a much, much, much different color than the Gash lipstick I bought just a year or so ago. The new one is really pinkish, while the old one is a metallic darkish red.

I’m still hoping to get the UD Gwen Stefani palette. Now I see GS lipsticks? Shoot me now. They’re incredibly pretty. I know the formula will be just as awesome. YAY!!! Let’s zoom through winter. I need these!! Woo hoo! 🙂
I got samples of 4 of the lip colors when I got the palette (am I in the minority? I like it a lot..especially to balance out a bold lip). I’ve tried Rock Steady, a bold berry . It also comes with Ex Girlfriend ( the only nude I think!)..i forget the other 2. There are several formulations
