That looks like a nice little kit. Sort of like a Naked Basics/Flushed mashup with mascara, eyeliner and lipgloss. It looks like the gloss has some color to it.

amy Avatar

They have! It’s a fad. Now that everyone has a “Naked” palette from any brand the naked fad is slowing down. They will be putting all the naked stuff on clearance within a year.

Staci Avatar

I see sin, naked, buck and snakebite in the eyeshadow. The middle shade I’m not so sure about, maybe mugshot from naked three.

This looks nice, but once again, it seems like too much of an overlap. I have the three nakeds and one flushed. Too many duplicate colors.

Sarah Avatar

I really like this palette, it seems like it would work for darker skin tones. I’ve seen a lot of complaints about how orangey the bronzer is, but for once I can wear the bronzer in a palette! Lip gloss looks nice, too! In other pictures it looks much more muted in colour, though, more like a nude.

But, alas, I just don’t need a travel palette. This looks so nice, but I won’t indulge.

Tanya Avatar

Those eyeshadow shades look a lot like the neutrals in Vice 2. If I had to guess, I’d say Toxic, Habit (I’m least certain on this guess), Derailed, Rewind, and Ambush (a little uncertain on this guess too, but wishful thinking because I love that shade).

Katherine T. Avatar

Oooh, I LIKEY! I’m a sucker for travel palettes. These shades look universally flattering, and I like how you can pop in a different color lipgloss, eyeliner, or mascara if you want to switch up the look. I have Dec 1 marked down!

Melissa Avatar

I have a short trip coming up at the end of December and if that blush works for me, this set might be what I need even if there are a few overlaps. Naked 3 was disappointing for me (texture wise) but if the formula is there – this one is mine. 🙂

Stacey Avatar

I don’t like the shades….too bland….more of the same. I don’t like the holders for the pencils n lips….takes up space…..not travel friendly. That said……..a good kit for those starting with UD.

Lulle Avatar

Am I the only one who feels like the whole Naked franchise is kind of getting old? UD found their cash cow and they just won’t stop milking it.
Anyways, there are a lot of travel sets out there at this time of the year, and I think it’s pretty easy to find one with more interesting colors for a lot less money.

Celia Avatar

This is definitely what I thought UD would make the Electric Palette. I envisioned a Naked-esque campaign featuring bright colors and intense finishes. Seems like such a no-brainer to me! Then UD could have its neutral cash cow and a cash cow that relates more to the tradition of the brand with bold, bright colors. I’m still hoping that they continue on with the Electric line.

markiebamboo Avatar

I second this! More pressed pigments and electric colors. This is one of the areas of makeup that is on the rise and most lack quality when it comes to brights. I am looking forward to the next electric product!

The Naked palettes are supposedly the best selling eyeshadow palettes of all time, for any brand. But I agree, they are milking it. Tons of brands have imitated them, and I see new knockoffs still coming out all the time, on top of what UD’s putting out.

I love the Naked Basic and Naked2 Basics I have, and I wear neutrals a lot. However, I wish they’d come out with an Electric Palette 2, or something with truly new, unconventional colors. When UD first came out, I would have never guessed their big claim to fame would someday be neutrals.

Christine Avatar

I think there needs to be more releases *between* all of the Naked flankers, and perhaps, more obvious “not-Naked” ones at that, because there are other things in-between, but there are a lot of Naked-esque products, so it feels like too much. UD knows its business and what it needs for revenue, but I hope they’ll continue to innovate in their space and take risks, not just stay the course.

Carrie Avatar

And not only does there need to be more, they need to be better quality – Vice 2 is one of their worst palette in ages quality wise (though ‘worst’ isn’t that bad, but still), meaning if you’re over Naked and/or you had enoug Sugar Pill to make Electric redundant (as it was for me) they had nothing in palette form to offer you, and that’s a pity!

Mimi Avatar

did the naked vault really sellout already..? Wow that was quick, I thought with the high pricetag & since a ton of people already own at least 1 naked palette it would be around for awhile. It is a lovely set tho and would make a great gift to give.

Kira Avatar

I love this idea. I am curious which Naked blush palette this is most comparable too. If it’s the “Native” set of I shades, I might have to pull the trigger. I wish the palette included a liquid instead of a pencil eyeliner though. Very cute packaging. I can’t wait to see your review!

Jillian Avatar

Oooooh, I like this game!! My eyeshadow guesses (bottom to top in photo):
Sin, Naked 2, Mushroom, Buck, Darkhorse!

I could definitely see Toasted instead of Sin though… but my first gut instinct was Sin, so I’m going to go with that!

Hopefully they deliver on the quality of the bronzer, blush and highlighter… if those aren’t up to par, this could definitely lose value for me. And I agree with what some people have said – I love their expansion of the Naked line, but there needs to be new marketing/product innovation!

Kristine Avatar

I NEED this. It looks like a palette/set that I would actually use everything that’s in there. The Naked vault was just a bit too much, imo.

dia Avatar

This reminds me of the Shatter palette they had a while back. Similar selection of products, although this one has the highlighter and mascara which I don’t think Shatter had. Shatter was also narrower, with two levels. This one’s a flat square, which might not be as travel friendly.

I’m curious how they decide what to put in these things. You’d still need your foundation and applicators with you, so this isn’t really an all-in-one kit for me. It is very pretty, though.

Beth Avatar

Yes! It looks so close to Shatter which also was a holiday palette. The eyeshadow shades are almost exactly the same it seems. It came with 2 blushes and a highlighter. That first pinkish eyeshadow shade was such a let down for me. Fallout city. Hopefully the similar color in this new palette is better.

Sylirael Avatar

Hmmm… obviously, I’m most keen to see the eyeliner, the shadows and the lipgloss! I wonder if there are any permanent shades, or if it’s all new – I can never tell from photos, LOL! The blush/bronzer/highlighter set takes up a little more of this palette than makes it ideal for me, and of course it’s more neutrals (*sigh*), but I do like me some UD eyeshadow and liner, so… consider me curious! 😀

Estefania Avatar

The shades to me look like Sin (or Toasted), Naked, Pistol, Faint, and Snakebite or Darkhorse. This looks kind of bulky… I don’t really like it when brands make those wells in the actual palette to fit eyeliners, mascaras, brushes, etc. I usually pack those separately, so it just personally irks me haha.

Eyeshadow Shades:
-Dare
-Fix
-Resist
-Dive
-Stun
-5050
Naked Ultra Nourishing Gloss:
-Sesso
24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil
-Stag

Wondering if they just renamed the shadows, because I have some “LE” shades which are pretty similar to their permanent eyeshadows. Though, I still want it. LOL

Mariella Avatar

Count me in as another one interested in this. The bronzer looks like a “fail” for me but everything else looks really promising (sigh…the eyeshadows…sigh) and what a great item for travelling – almost everything you really need in such a compact package. I’m assuming the liner, etc. are half sized and it would be great if you could purchase minis of those products to restock this and extend the usefulness of the whole palette.

Sarah Avatar

Wow, they sure went the extra mile in this press release emphasizing all the NEW. It’s thisclose to being overboard, lol! I’m disappointed 5050 is an eyeshadow and not a highlighter (although I suppose it can do double duty?). It is all new shades, but honestly, how different could these be to the shades already in existence? There’s probably just minor differences in each shade.

With the cynicism aside, I can’t help but get excited by this! It just looks so gorgeous. Still a pass for me. I just don’t need it! But happy for all the UD girls who’ll get a lovely new item to covet! Looking forward to the swatches. And hopefully UD has the next big thing – the next makeup craze – planned for 2015!

Gina Avatar

You have no idea how hard I’ve been wanting an all in one palette to replace my makeup bag in my purse and IMO if this somehow fit a small eyeshadow and small blush brush IT WOULD BE PERFECTION.

Alice Avatar

I don’t own any Naked products because I almost never go for nude/neutral looks, but I think I’m going to pick this up. (well that’s a lie I have the Aura naked illuminated)

A little sad it’s a big shadow rather than a highlighter, but maybe it could be used as a highlighter? I am glad the eye pencil isn’t another Zero though!

Dani Avatar

One big let down for me, that maybe they didnt think about, is how are you to replace the mascara when this travel size runs out? It seems that above they go on about being able to replace the gloss and liner with full sized shades when you so chose. Unless a travel sized mascara is always available, it’s not a good selling point. I also agree that the shadows look very similar to th shattered palette from last year. I also own the flushed palette in native. This bronzer and blush look very similar.
