Now this is a palette that actually makes sense and fills a need – at least for my collection. I travel a lot for work and could see this working well, depending on how it fits into my bag. I am so glad they thought carefully and dumped the intensive drug-related shade names. I might actually pick this up!

Alana Avatar

Okay, the arm swatches are so cute! Loving the peace sign! I’ll be waiting for your review and list of dupes on this because honestly I’m kind of “meh” about it. I feel like they’re using some pops of jewel-toned colors to try stand about a bit in the current warm reds, peaches, oranges, reds, etc. overload.

Van Avatar

This palette is giving me Vice 3 vibes for some reason, though at first glance the swatches don’t look that similar. With all of the Vice palettes I have, I’m probably good to skip this release.

I am curious to see what a travel friendly palette is to Urban Decay, as I’ve found everything they tout to be travel friendly (excluding their mini Naked palettes) to be bulky and fragile.

Rachel Avatar

Oooo! I would use every single shade in this! My dad works for L’Oreal, so I’ll have to see if he can snag one of these for me.

I do like this one, but I’m not going to jump through hoops to get it. If/when it comes to a B&M store, I’ll most likely pick it up, but I won’t be running out on the release date. It seems these are all shades UD has done before; I’m not upset or disappointed, it just means no FOMO.

I should have read the comments before posting. Ditto to you both! I’ll add though that it’s a tad to cool and faded for my eye-popping, duo chrome tastes, but for travel and work, great!

While they aren’t super intense, these swatches are making me interested! I love the cool vs. warm set, it really shows what kinds of looks you can create. Darn it, I was ready to label this an easy pass!

Zoe Avatar

Seems kind of off-brand for them? The packaging is such a departure from what I liked best about them. It feels like this festival/instagram vibe that I never associate UD with. Whatever happened to “Beauty with an Edge”? The interior layout is great though. Can’t say I am excited about the colors. Could be an excellent starter palette. Pass for me.

I really shouldn’t want this and I absolutely DO NOT need this and I never use those deep, bright pink shadows (I have a whole whack of them languishing in their palettes) but still, I really DO WANT this. I have a real weakness for these sorts of UD shadows even though I complain about how overwhelming they are, which is why I love trios and quads (the new Smashbox trios; Chanel quads, Dior 5-pans). I may well be breaking my “not buying American” rule and breaking down to get this.

Lord help me, because if this reviews as well as I believe it will, I am getting it! This would come in very handy should I decide to go on a vaca y back to NJ/ NYC this summer. Better than my OG idea of just bringing CP All I See Is Magic, Viseart Amethyst and Minx, plus a quad of essential MAC e/s’s in Orb, Kid, Soft Brown and something in a shimmery teal(?). This palette seems to encompass all but MAC Orb and Kid!

This palette actually looks a lot like my custom made palette. 😆 I try to keep my make-up collection minimal (and use up all the products I have) so for my it makes more sense to have 12-16 individual eyeshadows, focusing on basic neutrals and some pops of color.

I used to own the Naked Smoky palette before switching to the individual eyeshadow approach, so I might assume these are great quality as always from Urban Decay (although I would wait for Christine’s review 😀 ). If I were to start from scratch with my make-up collection, I might be tempted to get this.

I haven’t bought any UD in ages because all the palettes ended up looking very much the same to me and I just don’t wear super bright vivids. I would have got Backtalk if it was actually any good but it was more pinky brown than mauve purple and got some rubbish reviews, so I skipped it.

BUT THIS.

Might just change my mind…

Staci Avatar

I’m packing for a trip right now. Finding one pallet to take has been hard. If this gets good reviews, I’ll totally buy it.

Paulette Avatar

I forgot about this palette coming out from UD.
I really like a lot of the colors in here. But it would’ve been nice if there were less Of the orange , gold, peach warm shades. I don’t understand why all the Cosmetics companies put so many warm shades that almost look like . I wish they used lilacs , / blue/ Violets , light shimmery pink .

Mo Avatar

Please tell me that I am not the only one who first thought, “Oh, Bruce Springsteen partnered with Urban Decay?” 😉

I want to like this palette and appreciate the addition of a few pops of color, but it reads so warm/orange/brown and those colors are done to death.

Come on, Urban Decay, bring us an actual cool-toned and/or colorful palette!

Rachel C. Avatar

I like the idea of this palette. I saw it in store at Sephora and it reminds me of the UD vice 4 pallete. Nice but not for me.

Catherine Avatar

It seems like an inflated Vice palette release. I’m passing without hesitation, even if it performs well it’s the same old color selection, some warm transitions, a token blue and green, one more purple shade and then a smokey purple, etc, yawn. I imagine this would be best for people starting to get into makeup, the promos look like the palette will be big but not bulky like all the previous Vice releases.

R Avatar

The theme really appeals to me! The swatches seem… a little less unique than in the pans. I’ll be keeping my eye on this one for sure.

So, going to Europe in the fall and haven’t narrowed down my eye shadow palette yet. My daughter and I are going together and we are only doing carry on luggage. Would definitely consider this if there was a light enough matte brow bone shade for me. Otherwise I think this palette would be perfect for both of us. I will have to see what the palette dimensions are and how the palette reviews. I am definitely interested and would be willing to bend my no-buy if this met our needs. In particular, I love the right hand side of this palette.

Silvia Avatar

Now where was this palette when I was running marathons?! Lol! Not like I ever dreamed of wearing any dirt if eyeshadow to kill myself in a 26.2 and then some 13.1’s and 5k’s and 3’s but the full 26.2 is what I loved the best where you really feel the burn baby. Lol! Looks gorgeous and it contains just about every color of the rainbow. So tempting!
Must share this with a few of my Roadrunner girlfriends how fun! Catchy name for us suckers. Lol!

jel888 Avatar

Looks like this could be a contender in your question on the best travel palette for 2018, that said, I have all these colors, but I don’t have them in a single palette. Hmmmm…. waiting for a waiting before I decide.

Susan Avatar

Nah, I already have UD’s own Vice 3, which looks really close. This one has more orange-y shades, which I don’t even wear, so easy pass.

MakeupB Avatar

I am looking forward to the full review of this. Some others were comparing it to the ColourpopxShayla, maybe a comparison review? I have not purchased a UD palette since The Alice through the looking glass one ?. Hope this one is good?

Melanie Avatar

Anyone else getting Chloe Morello Ciate London 2 vibes? Give or take a few mattes for shimmers and a dark green, purple, and gray, they seem pretty similar except the current sale price!

Alecto Avatar

I don’t need it, so there’s no question — I’m not going to get it. But … if I had 1/4 of the eye shadow that I do, and no ability to put together a self-made palette for travel, I’d snatch this up in a heartbeat! Great range of colors and combos! I can see where this would still be leaning too warm for a lot of people, but for me it’s the exact right combination of warm base shades and interesting pops and accessorizing shades.

Alecto Avatar

Actually, this is one of the few palettes where I feel like if I *did* get it, I’d be seriously tempted to de-pot it and put it all together in a magnetic palette to rearrange at odd intervals just to play with the pretty colors.

Cil Avatar

Beautiful palette. Does it have any pigmentation?

Naked Heat launched in Brazil in June 1 (yep… a whole year late) and it is basically a great… 75US$ mirror. Horrible palette: chalk, dry and little to no pigmentation in my NC44 skintone.

Let’s see if other brands can do something similar.
