Ulta Love Your Skin Event 2021: 1/3 through 1/23

Ulta’s Love Your Skin Event kicks off January 3rd and runs through January 23rd. Each day, select products will be available at 50% off for 24 hours. For Diamond and Platinum members, there’s free shipping when purchasing any of the daily deals.

I suspect Sephora will effectively price-match any products that overlap on a given day, as they did so throughout 2020!

Also, if you were a Diamond or Platinum member during 2020 but did not hit the minimum to requalify for 2021, they are extending the tier’s respective benefits — make sure to activate the offer here.

Week 1 Beauty Steals: January 3rd through 9th

The following products will be 50% off on the date listed below!

Week 2 Beauty Steals: January 10th through 16th

The following products will be 50% off on the date listed below!

Week 3 Beauty Steals: January 17th through 23rd

The following products will be 50% off on the date listed below!

Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

I think Sephora should either extend the time period to qualify for Rouge or lower the threshold. This is the first year (in very many) that I didn’t make the Rouge level (I was about $300 short), largely because of the dearth of in-store shopping opportunities and sampling. If they’d drop the threshold or just let last year’s Rouge members automatically be Rouge for 2021, I’d be a very happy customer. Alas, no Ultas (still not…always talk about how it’s going to happen…) in Canada.

I think for their highest and mid level loyal customers (Rouge and VIB?), it would show some good customer service or customer loyalty. I’m sure they and all retailers are really hurting – no question – but they would win a lot of brownie points if they’d let people retain whatever level they’d reached in 2019.

Same issue here, Mariella. I fell below the the threshold this year, the first time in 6 years. I’m feeling pretty bummed out about it. Between the whole pandemic related restraints to get to do in-store shopping and swatching, to the very high veterinary bill I had for Scunci, I just couldn’t make Rouge this year. Disappointed that they’re not giving regular Rouge members some extra leeway due to Covid related factors.

Wow, same! Like almost to a “t” for the amount I’m short of Rouge too! This will also be the first year in probably the last five I didn’t make it. I’d like it if they extended us the opportunity to keep it as well.

I wish other companies would extend. I only made Rouge this year because I bought during two extra point events, and that pushed me over. I barely made MAC Obsessed two days ago.

The lack of in-store shopping opportunities really cut into my buying this year. Sephora and MAC in my city, for example, have limited hours and capacities. Because of shipping delays, I haven’t bought much online. In fact, I’m still waiting on a Sephora order I placed a month ago because the item sold out in store. And no swatching has definitely hurt my shoppingβ€” there are foundations I haven’t tried this year because of that.

Joining the nonRouge group as well. Way below. Not even sure I reached VIB. This was deliberate. Re this post: I think Ulta has improved on varying the options in promo seasons. Most of us remember a short time ago, when the 30 days were ALWAYS the same old, same old. If U revamped that, S ought to take notice. U has really left S in the dust in rewards programs. For me, as I get hair and s/c at U, it’s far easier to reach a higher threshold. S is more targeted. U more amorphous, buckshot. But I think the buckshot approach works. I squeaked into Diamond with a couple of Slatkin candles and have >400 Ultabucks. What do I have from Sephora? Even my resentment is in the rear view mirror.

The only reason I reached my Rouge mark this year was this last sale, I purchased skin care products and it just put me over because I was not trying, the perks definitely are not worth the expenditure seeing as I can’t even go into a store. Buying new foundation is going to be a challenging but fun!

Hi Jeanine!

They’re all great deals as it’s rare for anything to go deeper than 50% off – especially full-size, permanent products like most of the offerings here! πŸ™‚

Products listed that I do like, though:

– PTR FIRMx Peeling Gel (good for a very light, physical exfoliator)
– Lancome Bi-Facil Remover (great for eyes/lips in particular)
– Peach & Lily Glass Skin Serum (nice hydrator)

We try to approve comments within 24 hours (and reply to them within 72 hours) but can sometimes get behind and appreciate your patience! πŸ™‚ If you have general feedback, product review requests, off-topic questions, or need technical support, please contact us directly.
