Tower 28 Almond ShineOn Milky Jelly Lip Gloss ($14.00 for 0.13 oz.) is a muted, medium brown with subtle, warm undertones and a milky, cream finish. It had semi-sheer color coverage that applied evenly to my lips and spread readily across them.
The texture was lightweight but plusher in feel–it wasn’t tacky or heavy but had substance to it, which helped to smooth out my lip lines (instead of settling into them!). It was very hydrating while worn, though it only lasted for two hours on me.

The formula is supposed to have the "shine of a gloss" with the "comfort of a balm" and a "wash of milky color." It has a smooth, non-sticky texture that has more of a cream-gel like feel, as there was a more substantial, slightly thicker consistency but it wasn't heavy to wear.
The coverage ranged from semi-sheer to medium, but the upside was that they went on evenly and comfortably. Most of the shades seemed to soften my lip lines rather than settle into them, which can be an issue with milkier finishes.
They lasted between two and three hours and were hydrating over time. It had a creamy, sweet and lightly fruity scent--almost reminded me of salt water taffy in some sort of fruit flavor.

It had sheer to semi-sheer pigmentation in a single layer, which applied evenly and smoothly across my lips without settling into my lip lines–it seemed to soften my deeper lines.
The texture was lightweight, more like a creamy balm with moderate slip and no tackiness, though it was a shorter-wearing formula as a result. This shade stayed on well for two hours and felt moisturizing over time.

Love both shades a lot, but it will be Almond for moi! It’s a shade I could see myself using very often. Especially in our current situation, as a little smudging on my skintone may not be too noticable.
