Touch in Sol Golden Tangerine & Persian Rose Metallist Eyeshadows Reviews & Swatches
Golden Tangerine (3)
Touch in Sol Golden Tangerine (3) Metallist Sparkling Foiled Eyeshadow ($18.00 for 0.04 oz.) is a light-medium copper with strong, warm undertones and a glittering, metallic finish. It had opaque color payoff applied with a fingertip as well as when applied with a dry brush, though I had a bit less fallout when I patted and pressed it into place using a brush compared to my fingertip (which had manageable, but more noticeable, fallout). The consistency was soft and felt more like a loose pigment/pressed eyeshadow hybrid, as it was loosely pressed but had good adhesion and worked more like a pressed eyeshadow in practice. It wore well for eight and a half hours with slight fallout over time.

Formula Overview
$18.00/0.04 oz. - $450.00 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to be "highly pigmented" and "shine with luxurious glitters," which can be used with "fingertips or a synthetic brush." I actually found application with brushes (synthetic or natural) to yield less fallout and a more even application of product than using fingertips. It was almost as if fingertips picked up too much product or product unevenly, which resulted in less-than-ideal application with more fallout than brushes.
The pigmentation varied from shade to shade, but most shades were medium to opaque, buildable, and blendable along the edges without fearing fallout. I had minimal fallout over the eight to nine hours they lasted for. If you have more sensitive eyes, I'd still recommend using these with an adhesive spray or base to ensure maximum adhesion during the day.

Persian Rose (6)
Touch in Sol Persian Rose (6) Metallist Sparkling Foiled Eyeshadow ($18.00 for 0.04 oz.) is a medium, rosy plum with strong, warm undertones and a glittering, metallic finish. It had rich, opaque pigmentation in a single layer, regardless of whether I applied with a fingertip or a dry brush. The consistency was soft, more loosely pressed, so it was easy to pick up product as the powder came away in small flakes. I found that applying with my fingertip had light to moderate fallout, while using a brush helped to pick up a more even amount of product and seemed to press it onto my skin better as there was less fallout (but still a bit). The color went on evenly and blended without trouble. It stayed on nicely for eight and a half hours with slight fallout over time.

Oh, how I love that molton metallic finish on these! Just sublime!
Don’t need either one just yet. Can you imagine the shock I received upon finding out that I have 6 dupes of Golden Tangerine? Just 1 for Persian Rose, though (thank goodness!) .
Nancy T! I soooooo want to see your makeup stash! It sounds like a dream come true!!!
Very pretty but I have colors similarly a million times over
Gorgeous, beautiful shades and today I have tried to reproduce your beautiful eye look with the plum, taupe and champagne colours and I love it.
I love that you go out of the box. This brand is new to me.
I picked up two during the Sephora sale. I ended up getting Persian Rose and Holo Mulberry. I love both of them. I have never met a metallic e/s that I didn’t love though. These apply really well and wear well for me. I don’t get any fallout which is really surprising given the amount of shine these have. I haven’t had to use a glitter glue either. I hope they think about coming out with more shades. A lot of the shades are in that really orange/brown family and I have a million of them. I thought from swatches that the two colours I picked were the most unique. Holo Mulberry gives that UD Lounge sort of effect. I have about 6 of those types of shadows and love the duochrome effect so probably didn’t need this but it is really pretty.
Can these be used in the crease? I don’t use cream shadows very often because my eyes are hooded.
Nothing says they can’t be but your mileage may vary based on your eye shape/base/what you normally experience (I didn’t get quick creasing with these or anything). It’s more a matter whether they’re the type of texture you’d want in your crease!
Thank you!!
