Please keep discussion on-topic, and if you have general feedback, a product review request, an off-topic question, or need technical support, please contact us!

Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. Comments alerting us to typos or small errors in the post are appreciated (!) but will typically be removed after errors are fixed (unless a response is needed).

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Coloring: Light neutral skin tone, green eyes, salt & pepper hair

Favorite Look: (A look for a night out) Anastasia Brow Wiz, Natasha Denona Mini Lila Palette (Flint in crease, Raisin to darken outer half of crease, Linen on lid, Poison Berry on outer third of lid), Marc Jacobs Highliner in Blacquer to tightline upper lid, Tarte Lights Camera Lashes Mascara, Urban Decay 24/7 Eye Pencil in Desperation smudged lightly under outer third of lower lashes. Note: I tapped a tiny bit of MAC Mixing Medium on top of the ND shade Linen to brighten it and keep it from transferring up into my crease. FACE: Estée Lauder Double Wear Makeup in Ecru, Lancôme Effacernes Waterproof Concealer in Light Buff, Laura Mercier Translucent Powder, Dior Rouge Blush in Hologlam. LIPS: Chanel Pirate (the queen of my red lipstick collection). NAILS: Color Club Serendipity Powder Dip in Fairytale Ending, which means my fingernails are shiny, sparkly, holographic glitter — absolutely freaking amazing in sunlight, but just sparkly gray in most indoor lighting.

Most Used Product: (Other than my everyday usuals) YSL Rouge Volupte Oil in Stick Lipstick in #89. I love this lipstick so much! It not only makes my lips look younger and fuller, but I think it actually makes my whole body look thinner! 😉

Beauty Discoveries: I was struggling to get Dior Rouge Blush in Hologlam onto my cheeks. I tried several different brushes, but I wasn’t getting the full iridescent effect of this blush. Finally, I tried applying it with my finger, and there it was, in all its sparkly glory! I’ve never used my finger to apply a powder blush, but it worked really well for this formula.

Note to self: buy YSL Rouge Volupte Oil Lipstick so that I can look thinner lol! Love that you used your finger to apply the blush, going to have to look into this! This is why I come here and read Christine’s reviews and then everyone’s answers!

Skin tone: Very fair with dark brown eyes and grey hair.

Favorite look: I think the look I did today wins by default as I haven’t worn makeup all week. I have been getting some things done around the house and didn’t see much point in putting on a full face just to sweat it off in 5 minutes. I posted it on my IG but it was pretty basic. I used several eye shadows from different Viseart palettes that I own and just did a neutral look. Honestly, I can’t even remember which ones I used! My base was Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk with Power Fabric Concealer. The blush was Buxom Mykonos and I buffed it all out with one of my Guerlain Meteorites. I can never remember the name but it is from a few years ago and is the one in the circus tin. Lipstick was 3CE in shade 5 which is a coral with a strong pink reflect. It tastes like watermelon so needless to say, I eat it off as fast as I put it on! Look on my IG:

Most used product: It would be my skin care since I really didn’t use makeup this week. I would have to say my Australian Gold Botanical SPF 50. I have 3 tubes of it because I have loved it so much but for some reason, it is really drying my skin out so I am trying to use it up so that I can move on to one that isn’t so drying. I probably wouldn’t have noticed it except for the fact that I have not worn makeup all week and noticed how tight my face felt after applying the sunscreen. The tight feeling didn’t go away until I took it off at night.

New beauty discoveries: None this week.

Deborah, I just love your neutral eye look and your lipstick worked well with the total look too. I would stop using th at Sunscreen if I were you – by the time you finish your 3 tubes of it, your face will need so much more moisturiser it won’t be funny. There must be an ingredient or two that is not making your face happy. I tried the Neutragena Hydro Boost gel 50+ this summer and it was really good on my very pale sensitive skin. My skin colour is similar to yours.

You are absolutely correct, Genevieve. I am just going to use it on my body and move on to something that is less drying for my face. I will look into the Neutragena. I prefer a physical sunscreen on my face so I will need to study the ingredients but I will google it. Thank you for the suggestion.

Your skin tone/coloring: Fair w/pink undertones, dark brunette w/highlights, hazel eyes
Favorite look from the week: I’ve been so busy this week I’ve just been slapping on my makeup up throwing on a hat and running out of the house, And horrors of horrors I even went out with my hair straight without a hat on too, I’m really slacking off!
Your most used product this week: Pat McGrath Mascara, it completes me!
Any beauty discoveries (new or old): nothing this week

Your skin tone/colouring: Porcelain, with pink undertones

Favourite look from the week: Using the Stila In The Garden palette, I used the Breeze, a fine creamy pearl shade all over the lid, added Sage to the lower lid, with a touch of Juniper and Bark (the taupe shade) in the crease. I paired it with Colour Pop’s Gallop lipstick.

Your most used product this week: Stila in the Garden palette.

Any beauty discoveries (new or old): I noticed with the Stila palette that the pan sizes are extremely generous, which means I will never, ever run out of the shades. All the shades are beautifully pigmented and I am going to use this palette for a few more weeks. I love the Honey Gold and Moss green shade too.

Your skin tone/coloring: above with freckles, green/gray/blue eyes, warm brown hair.

Favorite look from the week: I used the shade Tigress from my Coloured Raine Safari Raine palette with a little bit of Clay in the crease. That shade of orangey red is so unique and beautiful! Paired with a mix of Flower Beauty Blush Bomb in Pinched and Melon with a little bit of my Beauty Bakerie Cotton Candy Champagne palette over top and a warm nude lip. I loved it!

Your most used product this week: ND Sunrise palette and ND Face Glow foundation.

Any beauty discoveries… I started using the Pixi Glow Tonic as a part of my nightime routine and it has improved the texture of my skin tremendously! I don’t know why I was holding out on this product, as I had tried it and didn’t really like it (I think because my skin was going through a sensitive period). I love it now!
