Comments that do not adhere to our comment policy may be removed. Discussion and debate are highly encouraged but we expect community members to participate respectfully. Please keep discussion on-topic, and if you have general feedback, a product review request, an off-topic question, or need technical support, please contact us!

Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. Comments alerting us to typos or small errors in the post are appreciated (!) but will typically be removed after errors are fixed (unless a response is needed).

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Coloring: Under my name. Green eyes, s&p hair

Favorite Look: I’ve been using the “Decide Now!” app to select my palettes for work this week. I had to use UD Naked3, Tarte Unleashed, Bare Minerals Bare Sensuals, Wet n Wild Comfort Zone, and Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Vol. 2. This was my favorite look: EYES—Tarte Unleashed palette (Toucan Do It in crease, No Fox Given on outer V, Irrelephant on lid). Marc Jacobs Highliner in Brownie outer third of lower lash line, Colourpop Precision Brow Colour in Cool Cocoa, Tarte Lights Camera Lashes Mascara. Two side notes about the shade names in Unleashed: (1) The adorably silly name “Irrelephant” makes me laugh every time I see it. (2) A woman doing a YT video review of the palette pronounced the shade “Toad-Ally” as if it were the name of a street (“Toad Alley”), completely missing the pun!!
FACE—Estée Lauder Double Wear Makeup, Lancôme Effacernes Waterproof Concealer, RCMA No Color Powder, Clinique Powder Blush in Cupid.
LIPS—MAC Brave

Most Used Products: Colourpop Precision Brow Colour, Tarte Lights Camera Lashes Mascara, Estée Lauder Double Wear Makeup, Lancôme Effacernes Waterproof Concealer, RCMA No Color Powder.

Beauty Discovery: Red Apple Lipstick. I love the lipstick I bought from them and will be placing another order in the near future (especially since they sent a 20% coupon to me when I gave them my email address).

“Toad Alley” deserves a facepalm. “Irrelephant” and no “No Fox Given” are my two favorite shade names. I almost want to buy the palette just for the cute and punny names.

Your skin tone/coloring: Under my name; magenta/red hair; hazel/green eyes.

Favorite look from the week: Unfortunately, I came home from vacation with a stomach bug. The only day I wore makeup was last Sunday.
EYES — TFSI. Too Faced Totally Cute Palette: Double Scoop (base), Luck Girl (inner third of lid extend around the inner corner), Clover (center of eyelid), and Storm Cloud (outer third of lid and blended up into the deep crease; lower lashline over UD 24/7 Eye Pencil in Deep End). Tarte Gifted Mascara. BROWS — ABH Love Letter. LIPS — Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb in Fenty Glow. FACE — Neutragena Ultra Sheer Dry Touch Sunscreen, bareMinerals Original Foundation in Fair, RCMA No Color Powder, theBalm Balm Beach, TF Unicorn as HL; e.l.f. Original Mist & Set.

Your most used product this week: Volition Strawberry-C Serum and my other skincare; Jersey Shore Suns Mongongo Nutrient Defense Anti-aging Lip Conditioner (the current lip balm in my desk drawer so I’ll use it up).

Any beauty discoveries (new or old): I love olive and dirty green lipsticks, but they’re hard to find. As I suspected I would be, I’m totally in love with Sephora #Lipstories in Margs, aside from the somewhat flimsy cardboard tube. The surprise is I bought a barely-used Kylie Jenner Metallic Lipstick in Monster from GlamBot on clearance, and … WOW!!! It’s an olive-gunmetal metallic with gold shimmer, and the formula is great. Think a darker, cooler-toned, edgier version of NYX Wicked Lippie in Trickery. I’m not a fan of Kylie or her makeup style, but this lipstick is stellar. I looked on her website, and it’s reasonably priced there at $17.50. I may start paying more attention to her lipsticks.

No fan of the K clan either. Cannot imagine putting one’s life, trials, tribulations, and bodies on display. But, hey, they work…albeit leveraging their fame. Khloe produced an ID Discovery program, named Twisted Sisters, no doubt with the tongue firmly in cheek. I think she even did some of the interviews, with all camera work over her shoulder. It was quite professional NOT to make it about her, and gave me a new slant on a crew I dismissed as self-aggrandizing, and not all that bright.

There’s a weird kind of genius to leveraging Robert Sr’s law career, Paris Hilton, and Kim’s sex tape into getting their own TV show and making the whole lot of them sickeningly rich and famous.

The only other thing I’d ever bought from Kylie’s brand was the purple eyeshadow palette a couple years ago. Phyrra Nyx liked it, and I got a good coupon for signing up for Kylie Kosmetics emails. It really is an excellent purple-themed palette. So to Kylie’s credit, the quality seems to be there.

Your skin tone/coloring: fair, cool
Favorite look from the week: UD Chase on lid, Riff in crease, Sephora Cappuccino liner, Aus. Gold tinted sunscreen in place of any base products; Becca Foxglove blush, Guerlain Champs Elysees lipstick and Marc Jacobs Blacquer skinny liner on upper waterline
Your most used product this week: Becca Foxglove blush
Any beauty discoveries… just the tip/trick I mentioned about using Inglot Duraline to revive a drying out pencil liner.

Your skin tone/coloring:light, MAC NC 15-20, med brown hair and eyes, oily skin

Favorite look from the week: Pulled out the Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette again. Used Georgia as a transition shade. Put Just Peachy in the crease. Wore Laura Mercier Caviar Stick in Rush on the eyelid. Wore Maybelline Master Precise Skinny Gel Eyeliner in Refined Charcoal on upper lashline. Wore Benefit Rollerlash mascara on the top lashes. Kiko Milano Green Me Blush in Soft Mauve. Guerlain Terracotta Bronzer in light blondes. Cover Girl Lip Perfection Jumbo Gloss Balm in Cocoa Twist

Your most used product this week: Milk Fiber Kush Brow Gel in MJ. Benefit Rollerlash Mascara. Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Neutralizer Concealer. Fenty Pro F’lter Powder in Butter. Guerlain Terracotta Bronzer in light blondes. Bare Minerals Mineral Veil Setting Powder.

Any beauty discoveries (new or old): Been working through various makeup and other beauty items. Takes a long time but very satisfying when I do manage to use something up. It’s easy to use up mascara, foundation, concealer, powder maybe but definitely difficult to use up something like lipstick!

Sorry this is late!
Your skin tone/coloring: fair/cool skin (foundation matches: Fenty Pro Filt’r 110, Urban Decay All Nighter 2.5, NARS Natural Radiant Longwear 2.0 Mont Blanc, Kevyn Aucoin The Etherealist Light EF 02, L’Oreal True Match C3 Creamy Natural), gray eyes, brown hair with red highlights and scattered blonde/blue strands
Favorite look from the week: Last Sunday I wore a royal blue T-shirt with a red and yellow Captain Marvel pattern and did my makeup to match: UD Chaos on lid, Too Faced Temper Temper in crease, a mix of UD Thrash/UD Midnight Cowboy/Too Faced Twinkie on browbone, CoverGirl x Katy Perry Katy Kat Eye Perry Blue mascara, Tarte Paaarty blush, and KvD Studded Kiss Creme Santa Sangre lipstick.
Your most used product this week: My usual base products, now with 2 concealers combined: Fenty Pro Filt’r Instant Retouch 110 and Maybelline SuperStay Better Skin 10 Ivory.
Any beauty discoveries (new or old): Yesterday I used a lipstick as blush. I was trying to do my makeup just as I was running out the door, so I dabbed my middle finger on the bullet of my (long-discontinued) L’Oreal Colour Riche Star Secrets Evangeline’s Red (designed for Evangeline Lilly years ago, when she used to be a L’Oreal spokesmodel) and rubbed it on my cheeks in an upward diagonal direction. It worked out great, especially since Evangeline’s considerably sheerer than most of my red lippies!
