Your skin tone/coloring: fair, cool
Favorite look from the week: ABH Vermeer on inner lid, something brown and neutral on outer lid/crease (I can’t recall what it was now – maybe Cork or Good as Gone and then all my standard but whatever it was, our investment advisor from the bank (a woman) commented on how much she liked my eyeshadow (something that generally would have me rethinking having overdone it but knowing Lucy, it was a genuine compliment)
Your most used product this week: once again (geez, I must be so boring), Dior Rosy Glow blush and Sephora Cappuccino pencil liner.
Any beauty discoveries (new or old): Lise Watier’s powder foundation. Every now and then, when I don’t want to bother with a liquid foundation but want a bit more “refinement” to how my skin looks, I will take this powder out and fluff it around and – BAM – lovely looking skin.
What a lovely comment to receive on your eyeshadow Mariella – you must have done a really good job with it.
…or Lucy is really good at her job and knows how to wrap up an investment deal!
Your skin tone/coloring: light, MAC NC 15-20, med brown hair and eyes
Favorite look from the week: I’ve been using the KVD Saint and Sinner Palette. I know she’s persona no grata but I want to get more use out of what I already have so… I set my MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Soft Ochre w Amen. Wore Martyr as a transition /in the crease. Put Revelation in the outer corner of my eyelid. Put Urban Decay Space Cowboy in the inner half of my eyelid/inner corner. Wore Dior Pump n Volume Mascara on upper lashes. MAC Raven Power Kohl Pencil on upper lashline. Natasha Denona Blush Mini in Golden Coral
Your most used product this week: KVD Saint and Sinner Palette. MAC My Teddy Eyeshadow. Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer. Natasha Denona Blush and Glow Mini in Golden Coral and Highlight #1. MAC Power Kohl Pencil in Raven
Any beauty discoveries (new or old): KVD Saint and Sinner Palette. It’s still a very pigmented and blendable palette regardless of what you think of KVDð
Your skin tone/colouring: Porcelain, with pink undertones
Favourite look from the week: Iused my beloved Lorac Pro Metals palette: Gilded (a soft gold shade) on the lid Colbolt (blue) on the lower lid and Clover (soft olive green) in the crease with the Art Deco Indian Summer lipstick.
Your most used product this week: All my staples
Any beauty discoveries (new or old): To think that I wasn’t going to purchase the Lorac Pro Metals palette at all and then, on a whim, I decided to. Just love all the shades and have completely hit pan on my favourite Amber shade…..
Your skin tone/coloring: Fair with neutral undertones and freckles, green/gray/blue eyes, warm brown hair.
Favorite look from the week: I used the new ABH Sunset Quad. Birkin in the crease and outer corner, Horizon to deepen the outer corner, Streak on the outer third and Blue Flash on the rest of my lid. Lots of highlight and blush, as per usual, and I used Physicians Formula Butter Lipstick in Pinkini for my lips. I really loved how it turned out!
Your most used product this week: I’ve been using the same skin prep products all week, so those, and always use L’Oreal Lash Paradise Mascara. I think I used the Sunset Quad the most this past week.
Any beauty discoveries (new or old): Horizon from the Sunset Quad has a really pretty satiny finish to it when you really work it on to the eye. It gives it a lot of life for being such a dark color. Also, I want every single shade of the Bobbi Brown Crushed Liquid Lipsticks. That formula is do die for.
